Chapter 17

(Jesse POV) We all agreed we needed to rest. This wool place seemed like a good place to rest for the night. I'm laying awake just twiddling with my fake leg. I just can't fall asleep thinking about how to help my friends. I release that I have not looked at my amputated leg. I take off the material that protects my leg from getting scratched. I look at it. It has some scars and some burns but it is healing. I grab my crutches from my inventory so I don't have to put my leg back on and start walking to the waterfall. I climb on the top and start thinking. I must have been daydreaming because Lukas climbed up on top and surprised me. "Oh sorry did I scare you" he says. "No your ok" I say. He grabs my hand I I lay my head on his shoulder. "What ya thinkin g about" Lukas says. "Ohh you know how we're gonna find Soren about everybody" I say. "You'll be ok Jesse why don't you try and sleep" Lukas says. "I'm trying but I can't" I say. "Why don't we go down to where everybody else are sleeping and we try to sleep" Lukas says and kisses my forehead. "Ok" I say. So Lukas goes down the ladder and then I go down and he helps me. I was starting to get my crutches out when he picked me up bridal style and started to carry me. "You didn't have to do that Lukas" I say. "I know but I did" he says. He puts me down and lays down next to me. I hold him I'm freezing buts he's warm. "Jesse your so cold" says Lukas He puts his jacket over me. "Thanks Lukas" I say and hug him close. "Lukas can you sing me a lullaby" I say. "Sure" says Lukas

I hug him closer and by the time he's almost finished I have fell asleep. I didn't sleep for long because I started to have a nightmare. (Jesses Nighmare) The witherstom it was chasing us. I was leading the way when Olivia Axel and Reuben get picked up by the tractor beam. "Reuben Olivia Axel" I scream. But the wither storm was to fast and sucked them up. Next it picked up Lukas and Petra. "Lukas Petra" I scream. but in a second they were gone to. But now the wither storm was gaining on me. I could feel the tractor beams getting close to me. Then the wither storm picked me up by the tractor beam. Then the wither storm ate me. I woke up. (End of Jesses Nightmare) I woke up with a start I could tell it was about 12:00 in the morning. I was making sure that everybody was here. Lukas, Petra, Axel, Olivia and Axel. We're all here. I just couldn't shake that feeling about that dream. I could feel myself starting to shake. Then I saw Lukas moving around and then he opens his eyes. "Jesse are you alright I can feel you shaking" Lukas says looking up at me. I tryed to speak but words just wouldn't come out I could feel a tear leave my eye. Lukas sits up and hugs me. "Bad dream" says Lukas. I shake my head yes. We hugged for a few minuets. "Do you want to tell me about it" he says. "I'll tell you later" I say. He kisses my forehead "ok Jess". I love when he calls me Jess. Lukas grabs the chain of my locket he gave my for Christmas last year and looks at it. "You still wear this" he asks surprised. " I haven't taken it off since Christmas when you put it on me" I say. "Wow I didn't think it meant that much to you" says Lukas and kisses me. "Well I hate to be a party pooper but we need to wake up the rest of the gang to get moving" I say. "Aww I didn't want this to end but ok" says Lukas. So we go and wake up everybody. "Come on let's go guys" I say. So we get up and start moving.
