Holidays/Christmas Important

I (and I think this applies to many others) usually get so caught up in the holidays and being with my family and my friends, that I forget or put-off in my mind the many others that aren't able to enjoy the holiday season as well as me, my family, most of my friends, and many others that I know. There are some people that don't have family to be with, don't have friends to celebrate with, or don't even have places to stay the night during these special times of the year.

Which is why I feel really bad, cause I can't do much to help these people. What much can a 12-year-old who gets treated like a 2-year-old do? I'm broke, and even if I wasn't I wouldn't be able to donate to any good charities cause that's out of my reach as someone under 18, or even 16. I can't manually go out and help because there's no way to. The best thing for me to do myself is to keep those people in mind and heart, though that makes me feel worse cause that's all I can do.

And barely anyone in the world is trying, even remotely, to help these people. I mean, there are police out there, everywhere, going to the homeless who are out on the streets and tearing their tents to shreds, arresting them for basically being homeless which is out of their control, and keeping homeless and poor out of public buildings, on the holidays and Christmas, when they're just trying to keep warm for the night. And more than half of those people are veterans, who fought for the country and for their families and friends to survive. They fought and they came back, and now those veterans are homeless and no one's doing anything to help them, no one's doing anything to prevent that from happening, no one's doing anything to help anyone. Really, all anyone's doing is making it worse by doing the exact opposite of helping them.

And I completely admire those, such as Markiplier, who does so much for charity and helping out different causes that they believe in. And they use their fanbases and communities for good, for helping those less fortunate and those who the world conspires against for no good reason. Markiplier, for example, has raised millions of dollars for many different charities, and that doesn't only count the money others have donated because of him, it also counts the probably hundreds of thousands he's donated himself out of his own money. If we had more people like that in the world, it'd be a much better world than today's.

So I just ask for you to keep those people in mind and heart during the holidays and even after that. This world is already against them when they should be helping them, and things aren't exactly gonna get any better in the coming year. And, if you possibly could (as I can't), please consider donating to a cause you fully believe in. I'm not pointing out a specific one, as there are only a few I can name at the moment, but if you are capable of donating to a good and working charity then please consider it and do your research to find one for the cause you'd like that actually does good and isn't a scam, because unfortunately there are people who take advantage of charities and charity names to confuse people into giving them money when they're doing nothing good for the world. That's honestly all I wanted to say, so, Happy Holidays To All, And To All A Good Night. (though I'm not going to bed for a few more hours)
