Chapter 4

Grant POV

I always knew that if the time came Taylor would be a great mother as it’s in her personality. However I am still amazed at how natural it seems and how easy Taylor makes it look because both she and Mary always seemed to have fun when they were together. I don’t know what being a mother is like but I’m like a father to Lulu and I see the struggles which Claire has sometimes with lulu which is why it amazes me how easy Taylor makes it look. Motherhood was a different side to Taylor that none of us had ever seen before. We’ve seen her and how amazing she is with her younger fans and how she lights up being around them but we’ve never seen her as a mother till now. The fact that Mary was able to bring out a completely different side to Taylor was incredible and they’ve only been together for about a week.

Honestly, Taylor amazes me with everything that she does and I’ll admit I’ve got rather strong feelings towards her as I’m attracted to her personality and the type of person she is both in the public and private eye. I don’t ever want to have to think about the day where I have to leave the band because of requirements for me to stay home. It would mean giving up all the adventures which we get up to when with Taylor and I wasn’t ready for that. Although I have feelings for Taylor it doesn’t mean that those feelings from her towards me are the same considering she’s a mega star and well I’m just her guitarist. There’s no way which she would ever actually fall for me whether I wanted her to or not. Mary’s shyness did intrigue me and being one of Taylor’s closest friends I wanted to know more about her. I had a feeling that she had become really close with Taylor and by simply being close friends with Taylor I was going to be seeing a lot more of Mary as time passes.

“Hey do you two wanna come out to lunch with us?” I asked as I walked into the room from making a phone call.

“Sorry we can’t, we’ve got to go out with my parent’s. Otherwise I would love too and I’m sure You would too hey Mary?” Taylor asked and I knew that she would have something on as she as she usually always does as she has such a busy schedule. Taylor was the kind of person you wanted to go out and do anything with but you would have to book in advance as she’s always busy- not that I’m complaining.

“Hey do you two want to come out to lunch with us?” I asked as I walked back into the room from disappearing to make a phone call and grab a drink.

“Sorry we can’t as we’ve got to go out with my parents. Otherwise I would love too and I’m sure you would too Mary?” Taylor asked and I knew that she would have something on as she usually always does whether I like it or not. Taylor was the kind of person that if you wanted to go out and do anything with her then you were going to have to book in advance because she was always busy.

“How about this afternoon we all go out for ice-cream? After finishing up here this afternoon as we’re coming back this afternoon aren’t we?” I asked and I watched as Mary looked over to Taylor like she’d been told something different.

“Yes, I’ve got a couple of things I want to listen to and fix up then I was going to go shopping with Mary for a couple of new shoes as we’ve got a few formal functions coming up soon” Taylor smiled looking back at Mary as she sat on the chair by the desk. Shopping again? I thought because as I’m a guy I’m stereo typically known to hate shopping- I hate it with a passion. I didn’t want to see Mary turn into a spoilt brat with all the shopping. Being the father figure in Claire’s daughter Lulu’s life I knew it wasn’t a good idea to do so much shopping for Mary.
