After Case dropped the L bomb and left me standing there gobsmacked, while he went back to the fairgrounds with his buddy Cory I found myself walking back into the bar.
He loves me? Nah, no way. If he loved me I would be his #1, not #2 to a better time.
All though I was caught off guard, my defenses and walls were still high.
There's no way he feels this way, this is just a last resort, last idea to get me back so he's not single or seen as someone who can be dumped.
I went to find Kane again.
"Buy me drinks. I'll pay you back, I just need to drink" I said as I grabbed his arm making him turn away from the girls he was currently talking to.
"You got it sweet cheeks" he said and led me over to the bar.
"One?" He asked looking at me.
"Jack and Coke." I said telling him.
"Jack and Coke please sir." He asked the bartender
"I.D. Kid?"
"Here ya go." He said handing him his I.D. Which wasn't an issue since he was 23 compared to my 20.
The bartender handed him a big glass, which he then handed to me.
"Take it slow ok ba-" he started but himself short when he saw me chugging the glass.
"Another." I said handing him the glass back
"You sure?"
"Yes dammit. Another!" I said handing him money.
"Chill and no worries I got you." He said smiling handing the guy money and my glass.
An x amount of drinks later, I was gone. I was too drunk to even register what the hell I was doing.
To my recollection I was currently grinding on Kane in the middle of the dance floor to "No Hands" by Wacka Flocka Flame
"Oh hell yeah this is my jam!" I yelled as I, as the kids say, was dropping like its hot.
"Damn Gina!" Kelsey yelled laughing while she leaned up against John.
I could just hear Kane laughing his ass off, no doubt he was enjoying this every bit.
Last call came around before long and we were all four heading towards the door.
"Kane can you take her home? Me and John are gonna find a... Private place to... Discuss things." Kelsey said as we all stopped in the parking lot.
"Ohhh y'all are gonna do the dirty" I laughed and poked her arm.
"Shut your drunk ass up" Kelsey laughed pushing me into Kane who had to hold me from falling
"Yeah no worries, she can sleep at my trailer, so y'all can have a meeting in yalls if you want." He told Kelsey As I just sat there laughing at nothing.
I'm a fun drunk.
"Kane, there better be no motives behind this." She warned.
"Don't worry I won't do anything she doesn't want me to." He said winking at Kelsey and walking off to his truck with me happily skipping next to him.
