3 - I will chop your damn balls off

After we cooled off the horses and unsaddled them we put them in their stalls. I was currently wrapping Ace's legs after I put 'Ice Tight', it's supposed to help with muscles and stuff.

"Can you believe what happened earlier?!" Kelsey asked looking at me.

"You mean what happened with that girl and Case?" I asked looking up from the leg I was wrapping.

"Duhh!" She's said petting Frosty.

"I'm trying to forget." I said then went back to wrapping his leg.

"Why? One of the hottest calf ropers in the world called out your name! That doesn't make you the least bit-?"

"Disgusted? Then yes it does." I stated.

"No I was gonna say giddy." She said looking at me.

"No! Why should it? It's a weird thing. Who knows what he was thinking!" I said standing up.

"Probably about how hot he thinks you are!" Kelsey said smiling.

"Pshh, yeah right! Come on, let's go pick up our checks" I said walking out of Ace's stall and locking it.

It felt good to say that we won checks. Money can get so tight at times.

We were walking up to the payout booth when John Hanchey and Case Cooper came up on either side of Kelsey and I.

"What do y'all want?" I asked them looking at Case who was next to me.

"We came to get our checks. What about y'all?" Case said smirking.

"Same as y'all." Kelsey said rolling her eyes.

Thata girl.

"We also wanted to know if you ladies would care to go see a movie with us later?" John asked looking at us.

"No." I stated walking up to the booth with Kelsey beside me.

"Check for Kelsey Smith and Reece Walker in barrel racing please." I told the lady. The lady gave us our money and told us to sign this piece of paper saying we picked up the money.

We started walking away with our money when, much to our dismay, John and Case walked up to us again.

"So how bout the movies sweet cheeks?" Case asked looking at me.

"It's a no Mr. Cooper." I said and looked forward.

"Aww come on. Y'all have been on the road for a while so I know y'all need a break from the rodeo atmosphere!" Case said.

"Well..." Kelsey started.

"No! There is no wells. We have to stay here and watch Ace and Frosty because they are doing so good people will try and do something to them. Believe me, it's happened before." I stated looking at Kelsey.

"Oh yeah. I forgot. Sorry guys." Kelsey said looking at John.

"Hey we can arrange someone to watch them!" John said looking at Case now.

"Oh yeah!! Billy was gonna watch my horse for me, he could also watch y'all's." Case said looking at me smirking.

"No way." I said not looking at him.

"Well, Reece, we haven't been to the movies in forever." Kelsey said giving me her puppy dog face.

I thought it over for a bit and then sighed loudly.

"Fine!" I said irritated.

"I knew you couldn't resist this!" Case said gesturing to his whole body.

"Ew. I'm not going for you. I'm going because Kelsey wants to go! And if anything happens to mine or Kelsey.'s horse I will chop your damn balls off Case Cooper." I said in a serious tone.

Case's eyes went huge an he swallowed hard, but quickly collected himself again.

"Nothing will happen. I'll go tell Billy now, you girls get ready." Case said smiling and walking towards the stalls.

"We are ready." I said raising an eyebrow.

"Really? Y'all don't wanna get a little more dressed up?" John asked looking at Kelsey and I.

Wrong move. I saw Case turn around and face palm at John's comment.

"Well Mr. Hanchey, i think we're dressed just fine." I spat at him.

"Ohh yeah. Sorry." He said awkwardly.

"C'mon Kelsey, let's go get out bags." I said narrowing my eyes at John.

We walked to our trailer and grabbed our Double J bags/purses. I know what you're thinking if you've ever seen one of their bags or one of their price tags, we won them in a raffle. One of the only raffles we won.

We walked out and met Case and John in their truck.

"I can't believe were doing this!" I said climbing in the back seat.

"I know! What'll people think? I bet they get the wrong idea!" Kelsey said climbing in next to me.

"Screw what people think! I'm only worried bout Ace and Frosty. People theses days are stupid." I said as Case took off.
