Nightmares

*Jesse's pov*

After that event last night, I couldn't stop thinking about her.
We actually kissed. Drunk in love, I could almost forget about the time wraiths and the whole 'criminal-victim' thing.

I suddenly felt an ache in my heart...
I can't lose her too.....
I walked over to my room
I layed my head on my pillow
Closed my eyes
And darkness took over me

I saw darkness and in the distance I saw a light. Naturally I walked towards it.

I started to hear whisperings similar to ones I heard in the woods with petra.

I ran

I ran towards the light

I ran

And ran

The sounds got louder

And louder

Faster

Just when I was about to cross the line

It closed

I fell back

The sprites came after me

I closed my ears

I screamt

I blacked out

I saw bright light

I woke up

I saw a meadow

Flowers everywhere

There she was

"Oh finally you are awake clayhead"
"Petra? Where am I ?"
"Umm...in the garden"
"Garden?"
"Iris and jack are playing inside the house sooo we came out....."
"Iris and jack ?"
"Yeah our 8yr old daughter and 12 yr old son.....are you ok jesse?"
"Yea...yeah.....I am fine Ra-ra"

What happened ....... is this the future ?

"DADDY.. MOMMY Jack is fighting a monster.....HELP US"
"Listen Iris....we played with you yesterday.....can you play alone today ?"
"MOM THIS IS REAL ..... DAD DO YOU BELIEVE ME ?"
"I uhh.....ra-ra...maybe we should go check this out"

We walked into a house which is apparently ours.....

I saw it ....the wraith ....fighting my son ..... jack..

"GET AWAY FROM THEM" Petra pulled her sword out and ran towards it

"No Petra don-"

Too late .....Petra was fighting furiously

The wraith grabbed her .....
Grabbed a large blade

I ran towards her

I grabbed my children

Hid them behind me

The wraiths whispered "The criminal will pay and the victim will die......over and over again....in all timelines in all worlds .....In all lives"

"JESSE take care of iris and jack"
"PETRA NO-"

Stabbed

Blood everwhere

She was on the floor

Cries and screams

"MAMA"
"MOM"

I was speechless

I picked her up

Cold....dead...lifeless

I screamt

*Petra's Pov*

I couldn't sleep this night. I kept thinking about jesse. I smiled and giggled like an idiot.
Suddenly I heard a SCREAM
I swear I heard it come from Jesse's room. I ran towards the room.

He was screaming and crying and thrashing around.
I couldn't see him this way

"Shhh jesse, calm down"

I wrapped my arms around him

"I can't lose you .....petra....dont leave me ever.....Don't leave me alone"

"I wont ....I promise"

I hugged him tight until he was fine.

"Hey will you feel better if I was here ?"
"Yeah..."

We slept next to each other with him holding me tight
I loved him so much
I kissed his forehead
He slept
I slept
