Thalassophobia (Soul X Weapon! Reader!)[Soul Eater]

2nd Person Pov:

Prologue thing-do:

" Come on Y/n! You're so slow! We're almost at the DWMA!" Your meister called to you as you watched her skip up the steps. " Uhhhhh, there's too many steps!" You wailed back. Even though you trudged lazily up the stairs of DWMA, you still felt a bubble of excitement as you could not believe that you were here at the school which is what you've dreamt of since you were little. With only a few steps left to go, you ran up  them ease but stopped in your path when you noticed the school in front of you.

" Wow, It's so....."

" Symmetrical. I know. " A boy with three stripes in his hair said; suddenly appearing at your side.

" Um.. I was going to say big but I guess you could say that the DWMA is symmetrical.......Anyway, my name is Y/n L/n and this is my meister Hanako Lememe. And you are?

" My name is Death The Kid and I'm Lord Death's son. And .....Wait a minute! What on earth has happened to your tie! It's completely asymmetrical! How dare you!" Death The Kid yelled.

"Oh..umm...."

Two girls with matching clothing but with different hairstyles (One light brown and one blonde) ran over to you.

" Don't worry about him. He's just obsessed with symmetry so just ignore him. You'll get used to it after a while. By the way, my name is Liz and this is my little sister Patty. It's a pleasure to meet you." Patty looked at you and burst into fits laughter. What she was laughing about was unknown to you.

"Oh.. the pleasure's all mine!" You replied.

" Hey Y/n, who is that blue-haired boy charging at us with great speed?" My meister asked with confusion in her tone. Before you could answer, the figure suddenly screamed out "YAHOO! The name's Black Star and I will surpass God! Let's fight!"

" Um.............no. " Hanako said sarcastically.

" Hey, what's all the shouting about? Really not cool." A boy with white hair said, followed by a girl with bunches. You felt your cheeks redden as the boy sauntered over to the now huge group. He seemed nice.

" Oh, are those the new students? My name is Soul Eater and this is my meister Maka Albarn who enjoys reading which is really stupid and boring."

" MAKA-CHOP!" The girl had a huge, thick book in her hands and suddenly whacked it against Soul's head. Hard.

" HEY! What was that for Maka?!" Soul asked angrily.

" It's nice to meet you all! We're so happy to be here in the DWMA!" You said kindly.

Everyone looked at us with beaming smiles as we all walked into the school building. Well, you thought, this is going to be fun!

About a month after your first day~

You and all your friends  all decided that you deserved a treat so you went to the beach. I mean, you have been working hard since you enrolled in the DWMA! You were a little frightened about going, considering your fear of the ocean but you wanted to spend some time with your friends. As soon as you got there, Kid suggested to take a boat trip across the sea as it was often filled with dolphins. So, everyone ran onto the boat, excited for the sights in the sea. Everyone was happily talking and laughing but you decided to sit on one of the seats listening to music as even the sight of the sea gave you shivers. You have always been unsure why this fear had developed but it was something that she had to accept. Eventually, the boat came to an abrupt halt in the middle of the ocean. The good thing was, was that the water was safe to swim in so without a second thought, everyone jumped into the water. However, you sat up on the boat with your meister. You knew she wanted to swim too but she felt bad leaving you on your own. She knew your about your fear.

" You don't have stay with me you know Hanako. I'm perfectly fine on the boat by myself. I really don't mind. Go on have find!" You said trying to be reassuring.

" Are you sure?" Hanako looked at you sympathetically." Well alright then but only for 10 minutes and I'm coming straight back up!"

You gave her a small smile as she walked down the ladder and into the vast ocean.

You so wanted to be with them but the fear gripped you in it's clutches. After hearing your favorite song at least 4 times, a familiar voice brought you back to the present.

" Hey Y/n, what are you doing? Why aren't you in the water? Are you scared? Black Star isn't afraid of anything!"

"No, I'm not scared. I just don't feel like it that's all." You replied, hoping to be convincing. You weren't. Suddenly, Black Star picked you up with both arms and slowly made his way towards the ladder. You frantically shook your limbs, trying to get out of Black Star's grasp. You were so scared; you felt the fear rise up inside of you.

" Here I'll help you feel like swimming!" Black Star laughed. Then, he threw you into the water. You hit the ocean with a huge smack and that was when you heard a voice. It was Hanako.

" Black Star. You idiot! You stupid idiot! Y/n is petrified of the ocean!" She seemed furious. You rapidly moved your arms and legs in the swirling water but it was no use; you were slowly sinking into the depths of the ocean. Terror held you tightly as you screamed out, causing water to simply flow into your mouth. Before you gave up on hope, a figure quickly swam in your direction. It came closer, revealing a mop of white hair and bright red eyes. It was Soul. He grabbed you tightly and close to his chest as he swam towards the surface. When you felt the hot sun rays on your  now wet hair you spluttered out water and burst into tears. Soul was bobbing gently in the water as hot tears rolled down your face. You buried your face into his neck as he held you tightly in your arms. You heard him speak to you softly with words full of kindness.

" It's okay now Y/n. I've got you. I'll never let you go. It's alright."

We all hurried up the ladder of the boat and you never let go of Soul until you got to the beach.

As you hopped off the boat, Black Star looked at me with a serious look on his face.

" I'm..... really... s..sorry Y/n. I didn't know you were afraid of the ocean." Black Star muttered.

" It's okay Black Star. I forgive you." You said, giving him a smile.

When Black Star ran over to the rest of the gang, you noticed Soul in the distance with two vanilla ice-creams. He came over to me and handed me one.

" For you." Soul said blushing slightly. You took the ice cream from his hand and gave it a small lick. Refreshing.

"Thank you." You said. You then gave him a small kiss on his cheek causing him to blush a deep crimson. You looked at him with your e/c eyes. You knew it now. You loved him. You really did. He dropped his ice cream in shock and gave you a gentle kiss on your lips, causing me to also drop my ice cream. When we parted, he looked at you and said:

" I love you, Y/n. I hope you do too." He said.

" I do Soul, with all my heart."

Awwwwwwww... So, this was on my google docs so I figured, 'hey why not post it as a oneshot on Wattpad?!' There ya go. Buh-bye! Peace!
