Oblivious (Alibaba X Oblivious! Reader)[Magi Request]

Reader~Chan's PoV:

Ever since Aladdin, Alibaba and Morgiana came to Sindria everything had been much more interesting for me, as Sinbad's younger sister I didn't get as much excitement now as I used to see when I was younger.  When Sinbad first started his adventure, after he cleared Baal and came home, he took me with him on his adventure despite the fact that I was only a small child. However, now when Sinbad left, he left me here in the kingdom, to be watched and taken care of by the palace maids and the generals. However, a few months ago my brother returned with some guests. A small blue haired boy, a girl about my size, although I was slightly shorter than her, with pink hair, and especially a boy around my age with beautiful blonde hair. Aladdin, Morgiana and Alibaba had been rather interesting from the beginning, Aladdin, as Sinbad told me, was one of the Magis who wasn't suppose to exist, Morgiana was a fanalis, who despite her size was extremely powerful. Then there was Alibaba, apparently he was the third prince of Balbaad, and he had helped to bring the nation out of monarchy and tried to form a republic before the Kou Empire went to Balbaad to kill the princes and Sinbad brought them all here. At first, Alibaba remained unconscious, apparently due to his passion for Balbaad he was reckless and stupid, so I was entirely curious about him. When he woke up however he had a bad attitude and he refused to be nice to me even though I was rather nice to him. 

When finally he decided to change his attitude however, we became the best of friends! Every morning we would laugh and talk together in the great hall during breakfast, in the afternoon, I would watch every intense second of his training with Sharrkan, and after his training we would sit in the garden's flower fields and weave beautiful flower crowns together. He was constantly by my side! Which made me finally feel something I hadn't felt since Sinbad and I were younger and he spent every second trying to cheer me up constantly after our papa passed away. I loved Alibaba, and not just as a brother or a crazy uncle, I loved Alibaba romantically but I always pushed my feelings down for the sake of not ruining our friendship.

Speaking of Alibaba, I was just on my way to his room to wake him for breakfast! As I walked through the busy castle corridors, I hummed a happy tune rather excited to see my best friend. Maids and castle guards would bow to me or wave as greeting as I passed and I would return the greeting before continuing on my way. 

Finally, I made it to his door. I was about to knock when some voices got my attention. I pressed my ear gently to the door to hear better. I know I probably shouldn't be eavesdropping on my best friend and I should trust him, and I do I'm just really curious! Anyways, I heard Alibaba's voice clearly and the voice of...Hakuryuu, I think. 

"I know I should tell her, but I-i really don't want to ruin our friendship you know? I love her but I care more about just being a part of her life."  Oh...Alibaba, loves someone? Probably Morg. She's so pretty and strong and talented it's no wonder...tears welled in my eyes slightly before I pushed them down and composed myself. I knocked on the door, plastering a smile on my face ready to spend some more time with my...best...friend. The door opened to reveal the slightly shocked face of Alibaba. Surely enough, Hakuryuu stood slightly behind him, a calm...smirk?...laid on his lips. 

"Y-y-y/n?! What-what're you doing h-here?!" Alibaba nearly shouted, his shocked expression turning worse. 

"What? I always come to wake you up at this time Alibaba! Or did you forget?" I "giggled" slightly, pretending to think his reaction is hilarious but I was more hurt by his words. Did it really only take one girl to make him forget about all the fun we've had the last few months. 

"O-oh right! I totally forgot N/n! Sorry sleep kind of does that to me! Let's go have breakfast! I'm starving!" 

*Timeskip to after training*

Trying not to be upset at my realization was incredibly difficult. I continued to be very talkative at breakfast, or at least tried to be, but during training it was harder.  I stared, as per usual, but I tried not to this time. If he loves someone else I shouldn't be staring at him like a lion. Now we where in the gardens. I kept to myself, and instead of showing off each crown as I made it, I kept them to myself, although I hadn't made very many, my focus was on my thoughts. 

"Y/n? Are y-you okay?" Alibaba asked, pulling me from my thoughts. 

"Y-yeah I'm fine Alibaba." I responded. 

"No you're not N/n. Something's off today. Please tell me what's wrong! I thought you trusted me." 

"I-i do. It's j-just I heard you conversation with Hakuryuu this morning. I know you love Morgiana and I-i guess it hurts to know you love her and not me...As selfish as it sounds, I love you and I wish you loved me too. But I totally understand why you love her and I promise I won't make things awkward anymore Alibaba." I stated before standing up to walk away. Before I got very far, Alibaba grabbed my hand and turned me to face him. 

"Y/n, you idiot. Did you ever actually hear me say Morgiana's name?" 

"N-no but I-" 

"So why would you assume I meant Morg?" 

"Of course you meant Morgiana! She's beautiful, strong, talented! I'm just me." I trailed off, eyes suddenly captivated by my shoes. 

"Well I wasn't. Y/n, I was talking about you! My beautiful, strong, talented princess with a heart of gold and the most passionate gaze I've ever had the pleasure of seeing." Alibaba put his hand under my chin, moving my line of sight to meet his. I blushed slightly but I wasn't convinced in the slightest. He just wanted me to feel better about myself but he still loves Morgiana, I'm sure of it! 

"N-no! Those are really nice words but you love Morgiana! I know you do! Don't worry I'll be alright!" 

"Y/n do I have to spell it out? I-i love you. Not Morgiana! I love Princess Y/n of Sindria with my whole heart and I have since I met you!" 

"R-really?!" 

"Yes! I'm surprised you didn't realize it sooner! I acted like a totally idiot around you all the time! Why do you think I was so distracted when you would watch me during training!" Alibaba chuckled. 

"Oh! I thought you were just that bad all the time! I guess things are just harder when you're being watched!" 

I hope you enjoyed this! It took me a really long time to write and it is the longest oneshot in this book I think. I might also be wrong so don't quote me on that!
