Forever and Always~ (Derieri of Purity X Male!Human!Reader)[SDS]

Reader~Kun's PoV:

I was traveling to Camelot with Elizabeth, Hawk, Zaratroz and Meliodas' body. You see, I was a fairly powerful holy knight who had been alive for a very long time, not that anybody knew that, and had been entrusted with the protection of Princess Elizabeth. Elizabeth had just gone into Meliodas' subconcious wirh Zaratroz and Hawk; I stayed behind in order to keep an eye on the tavern's movement and it truly isn't my business. Everything was extremely quiet and calm until Elizabeth sucked in a sharp breath of air and fell forward into Meliodas' still limp form.

"Princess, are you all right?! What's happened?" I asked, panic and worry filling my features.

"Meliodas, please wake up..." Elizabeth cried out, tears rolling down her pale cheeks at an uneven pace. I knelt by her, placing my large hand on the small of her back gently, offering her a shoulder to cry on if need be.

Timeskip ~20 minutes

"T-thank you Y/n. You are very kind."

"Of course Princess. That is my job, isn't it?" I spoke stoically before hearing some comotion outside, "Please stay here, Princess. I believe something is happening outside." I immediately ran outside.

Outside, the tavern was being attacked by many demons. I grabbed my bow and began shooting down all the demons. I suppose we were causing a ruckus because soon two of the Ten Commandments showed up.

Monspeet of Reticence and Derieri of Purity, I believe...Hmm formidible opponents it would seem. I suppose we shall see.

"Hello there. It would seem people still have the guts to challenge us, Derieri." Monspeet began.

"Ah, so my sucpisions were correct! You are Monspeet of Reticence and of course Derieri of Purity! I'm sure this will be quite fun! However, it seems neither of you remember me-"

"Y/n! Be careful!" Elizabeth yelled, briefly distracting me. Derieri promptly attacked me whilst my focus was on Elizabeth. Fortunately, my reflexes quickly kicked in.

"Well aren't you quite interesting? Y/n? Wait...L/n?! You're alive?!"

"Y/n, how did you survive all this time?" Monspeet questioned in alarm.

"Y-y/n how do they know you?" Elizabeth was also shocked that they knew me.

"Well...a long time ago, when all species were free to rome the earth, I was a very special human. I was granted the power of immortality. I was forced to live out my days, growing to around twenty before I quit growing all together. Eventually, I met Derieri after eons of being alone.  She was a much needed change to my lonely life and I had fallen head over heels in love with her about a century before the war, Deri and I got married, unofficially but to us it didn't matter. I tried to convince her to leave the Ten Commandments entirely, however she refused-it was all she knew, so I understood. Unfortunately Deri, I have a job and I have loyalties now. I'm greatly sorry, but I can not and will not join the Ten Commandments again. I apologize."

"Well, not that it matters anyways. We'd have to kill you either way. Knowing your story just makes me want to eat your soul even more." Monspeet spoke stoically before he continued his attack. I quickly fought back, with no issues.

"Monspeet, stop this. Kill him and I will kill you." Derieri's words broke through the broken and harsh clattering of our fighting. Derieri moved closer to us before throwing Monspeet out of the way,"My love, I wish things had happened differently all those years ago, but now I would like to make it up to you-" I cut her off by pulling her into a sweet kiss.

"I love you Dearest. Forever and Always~"

Would you join the Ten Commandments or the Seven Deadly Sins and why? Also, what would your Sin/Commandment be?

My answer: I think I would join the sins because I would much rather be apart of that reckless, fun-loving and incredible group. My sin would probably be...idk. Why don't you guys try and figure it out? Out of the already existing sins, I think I'm Envy, but to make one up for me I just don't even know.
