A King and a Dad?!(Arthur X Child!Reader)[Seven Deadly Sins]

Arthur's PoV:

My life since becoming King of Camelot felt...empty. Boring meetings with people I don't know, strange, formal and uncomfortable parties in which people I don't know tended to crowd around me. The boring "royal" lifestyle abruptly ended for me when a small child showed up at the castle's doorstep. It all started one moderately warm morning.

I yawned as I got out of the overly large bed that was over twice my size. My orange hair was tousled and all over the place and the shorts I fell asleep  in the night before were wrinkled. A low knock sounded through the castle. I thought nothing of it and bounded into my personal bathroom. Once I had finished freshening up and getting ready for another boring day as King I stepped out of the bathroom and again the knock sounded-this time though the knocking was from the door outside my door. 

"Sire, you may want to come see this." Someone said from outside my door.

"Alright, give me a moment." I fixed my messy hair quickly before opening my bedroom's door confidently. 

My extremely confident demeanor disappeared as quickly as it had come once my violet eyes met a pair of the same intensity but heavily more innocent and youthful eyes. The eyes belonged to a petite, youthful girl who was held in the arms of one of the many maids in the castle. The girl's demeanor reminded me of my own-confident and ever lasting- but other than her violet eyes she looked alike to someone I loved a very long time ago. She had h/l h/c hair and beautiful s/c skin that had no visible imperfections. The next thing to happen left me completely and totally speechless. 

"Are you my Daddy?" The little girl whispered.

"Me?" I questioned whilst pointed a dumbfound finger at myself. The maid put the girl down in my room and closed the door behind her, deciding we needed some time.

"Yeah, you has to be!" The girl seemed far more excited than was necessary. I suppose she is a child after all I thought.

"Ummmm...what's your name Sweetheart?" I asked nervously.

"Y/n L/n-Pendragon." 

"Oh-kay." She even has M/n's last name and my last name....but I- I can't believe this,"Say, where is your Mommy? She's gotta be worried about you..." 

She seemed to still from her confidence momentarily before answering with a slightly shaky voice,"Sh-she went night-night f-forever....*sniff*" 

"O-oh." What am I gonna do? 

"A-are *sniff* you not g-oing to k-keep me?" Y/n whimpered. Tears began to fill her violet eyes and surprisingly, my own as well.

"Of course I'm going to keep you Baby. I just um, didn't expect this this morning so I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. Why wouldn't I?"

"I-i don't k-know. I wove you D-daddy." She spoke while trying to wipe her steadily flowing tears with the sleeves of her tattered sweater.

"I love you too Sweetheart." I think I could get used to having this wonderful little girl around.

So this is second chapter today because I figured you all needed some more. I'll try to update more but things are getting busier by the day. Sorry if it seems like an excuse at this point.

Mine would probably be Sloth-I'm slow and usually I miss things because of that.
