Reader~Chan's PoV:
"Y/n! We have a new guest!" Peridot yelled, calling me down from the roof of the barn, where I spent most of my days.
"Alright Peridot, I'm coming calm down." I jumped from my spot, landing directly next to Peridot, Pumpkin and a gem who I'd never met before. She had pale blue skin and short, dark blue hair that barely reached her shoulders.
"Y/n! Meet Lapis Lazuli! Lapis, this is Y/n! He also shares this barn with us!" Peridot seemed very excited to have a new resident in the barn, which made sense considering I wasn't the most sociable person to be around.
"Hey." I spoke quietly, holding eye contact with Lapis. Lapis held my gaze until she seemed embarrassed by the contact and she looked down at her feet.
"H-hi."
"So, Lapis what do you want to do first?! There's so many games to pla-"
"Peridot, let Lapis settle in first. Give her a little while to get use to earth, then you can teach her earth games." I cut Peridot off, already use to her hyperexcitement.
"Oh...okay." Peridot looked a little upset before clambering inside the barn with Pumpkin in tow.
"T-thanks for that, I guess..."
"No problem. Peridot just kind of gets like that." I rolled my eyes at the thought of Peridot's antics.
"Yeah, I kind of noticed..." Lapis finally looked up, laughing at my attitude towards Peridot.
"Lapis can I show you something?" I asked quietly.
"S-sure..." Lapis whispered.
"Well, hold on!" I wrapped my arms around her waist and jumped ontop of the barn. From there we could see the sun almost starting to set.
"It's beautiful!"
"Not as beautiful as you..."
