Everything Will Be Alright(Amanda X Depressed! Male! Reader)[LWA]

Reader~Chan's PoV:

It was just another day, my mother yelled this morning about something stupid over the phone while I was in my dorm trying to get my school uniform on. I was a...special case in an all boys private school that my parents sent me to over a year ago. Ever since then my parents called me every morning in order to "check-in" on me but really it was their excuse to tell me everything wrong with their poor excuse for a son. Maybe that is what caused my depression or maybe it was how uncomfortably stupid I felt with my peers and how they never let me forget it. 

I moved down towards the lunch hall for breakfast although I probably wouldn't eat much. As I was entering the lunch hall I was met by three of much taller and incredibly less sophisticated classmates. They towered over me menacingly, smug smirks plastered on their faces. 

"Hey Shortie, how was your talk with Mommy and Daddy this morning?!" 

"Yeah Girlie! Did your Mommy remind you take your medicine and put on clean tighty-whiteys?" I scoffed at the remark but made no move at a counterargument. I knew it would get me nowhere. 

"Hey, answer us Short-Stack! We didn't say you could just ignore us!" 

"Why should he? You'd just mock anything he says." A new voice piped into the conversation from behind them. The voice belonged to a tall boy, however shorter than the three in front of him, with fiery hair and striking green eyes. There was something off about this boy though, something that I couldn't place it. 

"And who are you exactly?" 

"Somebody who knows your type. And I know exactly why you do what you do." The boy spoke seriously, his voice higher pitched than even mine..Ah, that's it. He's a she..."Come on kid." 

"O-okay." We moved to the hall, the boys following us. 

"We aren't done yet Girlie." 

"I think you are." The mystery girl punched the ring leader in the nose causing it to start bleeding. 

"Guys, I think we should get outta here." With that, the three of them ran back into the lunch hall. We sat in uncomfortable silence for a while.

"Hey, uh, thanks for that...You know, stepping in there. You didn't...h-have to." It was then I realized I had subconsciously backed into a wall during the violence.  

"No problem..." She trailed off, obviously looking for a name. 

"Y/n. You?" 

"Alexand-" 

"Your real name." 

"Amanda then. How'd you know?" Amanda was entirely confused. 

"Your voice. It was too high pitched to be male."

"Oops."

"Anyways, is there anything I can do to...repay you?" I wasn't even sure what I was asking at that point but I decided to try to be hospitable. 

"How about...this." Amanda started and she leaned a little closer. 

"How about what-" I was cut off by her placing her lips on mine. I quickly melted into the kiss and allowed her to pull me closer. Eventually we had to release for air but a small smile remained on my face...a smile?" I hopped and almost knew that from now on I would be smiling a lot more.

"D-do you w-wanna-a hang o-out sometime-e?" 

"Of course. I'll pick you up on Saturday?" 

"S-sure."
