JAIMIE PERRON

"We have to go shopping tonight." Jenni insists. Lucy rolls her beautiful eyes and groans. She fiddles with her nails, sat cross legged on the bench in the yard, waiting impatiently for the lunch bell.

"Do I have to come?" She whines, flipping her soft hair over her shoulder.

"No, but please do. I dont want to end to in some frilly sh*t." I chuckle, giving Jenni a pointed glare.

"Dont worry, I'm not gonna put you in anything sleazy." She says, shoving my shoulder.

"Do I really have to spend three hours wandering around a mall to find stupid sparkly sh*t for a thing I'm not even going to?" She moans, scowling.

"Please! I need moral support. Its not exactly my ideal night either."

"Fine. If you take longer than three hours I'm out of there, even if we're in my damn car." She grunts.

"Fair enough." I agree, ignoring Jenni's protests.

"Hey Lucy, can I buy you lunch?" A boy asks, dark hair hanging loosely with a heavy Spanish accent.

"I'd rather have the money." She answers, without looking up. I stare, mouth agape. Jenni nudges me gently, reminding me of what she said in the hospital. I still think she has a date or something, because as funny as this is, I could've videoed it for her.

"Hey, chica hermosa (beautiful girl). Why dont you let me take you to the dance? I promise it will be worth your time." He says with a cheeky wink.

"Why would it be worth my time?"

"Because I can make you happy, Bonita. Anything you want." He purrs, eyes deep and sexy.

"You can make me happy by walking away."

ALDEN WOLFF

We sit with Jaimies friends at lunch like usual. She is sat diagonally away from me. Jordan sits on one side of her, and Brooklyn on the other opposite me. It just screams trouble. Her friends are further down. Jenni looks well, back in school quickly. She hasn't spoken a word of what happened and Jaimie trusted me with that.

Jordan steals some fries off Jaimies plate. She slaps him across the face and takes the corner of some pizza from him.

"Hey, that was mine!" He laughs, taking a fistful if her fries, and stuffing them in like a pig. She punches his arm and he winces, swallowing quickly.

"That is going to leave a bruise." He says, "And its nearly the dance! How could you? Can you imagine I someone punched Alden? He would be devastated, you seeing him like that when you two do it on the night-"

"Woah! That is not gonna happen. As much as he would like it to.." She grins, giving me a quick smirk.

"Hey princess, dont pretend you dont want me. Everyone knows." I answer, watching her face darken into a twisted smirk.

"Come on Wolff. You wanted me since you dropped that pen." She fires back, leaving Jordan laughing like a chain-smoking hyena.

"Admit it, you are so stubborn that you wont say, but you want me so bad. How could you not? Even being in the same building as me is pressure for most girls." She lifts off her seat a little, ignoring the rest of the table.

"You think? I've seen the way you looked at those guys earlier, you could barely stop yourself!"

"Dont kid yourself, its going to happen sooner or later." I finish. She jumps back down and the entire group starts laughing. I notice Jenni looking at Brooklyn when they think nobody is noticing and I realise I have the wrong pair. I know Jordan has asked a prostitute in training called Kelly, so he wont like Lucy. She would beat him up before she f*cked him anyway.
