Both men seemed to freeze. I could see that cicero's mouth twisted trying to find the words that would explain this incredibly disrespectful position he was in.
Cicero shoot up and his body was the most tense you could ever be. He was riddled with confused noises .
While Cicero was coming to terms with how he would even begin to explain what this really was, My uncle seemed to get tenser as well. Not in his shoulders like the mad man, but in his fists. His hands seemed to clinch hard enough to crush a skull, hopefully that's not what he intended.
I was the first one to say anything.."Uncle loreius, this..this isn't what you think..."
My lecture was interrupted by my uncle storming up to Cicero and pinning him up to the wall by his shirt. My uncle was considerably bigger than him.
" WELL I CAN'T THINK OF ONE SITUATION THAT THIS WOULD BE AT ALL APPROPRIATE IN!!" My uncle screams.
He was yelling straight into Cicero's face, which was now getting defensive.
Cicero's hands went straight up in a formation to insinuate a rational talk between the two of them.
He started laughing...
" Oh, hehe... what a hilarious misunderstanding." Cicero giggles while his lips curved into a devilish smile.
My uncle seems taken back by this. His brows pushed together wrinkling his forehead.
" I'll give you something to laugh about you freak!"
My Uncle starts to raise a fist. I Jolt up and run as fast as I can to get over there. I grab him and stop what's going on. He turns around to me shocked that I would stop what seemed to him to be a very heroic action.
" My god , please stop!" I yell at him while holding his arm back.
" He didn't do anything wrong Lorius, if you'd just let me explain." I was so worried. I really felt awful, like this was my fault. I never wanted Cicero to be hurt because of something i've done.
"There better be a good god damn reason for this defiance. A man in your room, a girl like you can be so easily taken advantage of! You have no idea Corrina. "
He rambled. He turned to me and grabbed me tightly by the shoulders. It would have been sweet if he weren't dead wrong.
" I can assure you my kind sir, that no such thing like that took place here. Well, perhaps...but not by Cicero and surely not when Cicero's was around. I'm just a lowly stranger, Hehe." Cicero was peering over my sholder to take the man's attention away from me.
" What are you implying mad man, That my niece is a floozy?" Loreius huffed.
"Oh no, no, no ,no, no. I would never ever imply that, well at least not in front of her!" He giggles and places his hand over his mouth.
If it were anyone else I think I would have turned around and slapped him right in the face. Something about him stopped me from doing so, his snarky comment actually made me laugh. I let out that giggle and look back at him. He winks at me playfully.
" I jest I jest. I of course think Miss O'connor is one to be honored, A KIND SOUL IS SHE! Never should she be slandered!" He says while putting his pointer finger in the air , impersonating someone being serious.
" Ha see? He's a jester! Jests that's what he does! He couldn't harm a soul I ausser you Uncle. Here let me explain to you his situation." I say with a bit of worry in my voice but still confident in what i'm saying.
