Niall and I were sitting on the couch clutching pillows and hands. We were terrified. I’d already screamed twice and Niall had screamed three times.

“Why? Why would she go there alone?” I yelled at the screen.

“Because horror movie characters always do stupid things.”

Niall and I had been sitting around his apartment bored so we decided to watch House At The End Of The Street because one of Niall’s friends, I think it was Zayn, told Niall to watch it because ‘it wasn’t even scary’. I would’ve liked to yell at him and maybe put him in a mental institution because he thought this movie wasn’t scary.

All of a sudden the door banged open and both Niall and I shrieked. From Niall’s living room you couldn’t see the front door so we were both scared like a mouse cornered by a cat.

“If those are axe murders,” I said referring to the footsteps coming from the hallway that was behind me, “You’re dying first.”

            “Why me?”

            “Because I save people’s lives.”

“My music spiritually helps people avoid suicide.”

“But I physically save people’s lives. I help dying kids.”

“Why are you guys talking about dying kids?” a voice asked and Niall sighed in relief.

“It’s just you guys,” he expressed and I turned around to see Louis, Liam and Harry. Let’s just say I started to feel very awkward being the only girl in an apartment of five guys.

“You look familiar,” Liam stated pointing at me.

“I’m Bella. We probably met briefly at that party Little Mix threw before they left for tour. My sister is their opening act.”

“Olivia Hart is your sister?” Liam asked. I remembered Oly introducing me to all of them vaguely enough that I remembered their names.

“Yep,” I said popping the ‘p’.

“So is there a reason you guys are all here?” Niall asked them.

“Right,” Louis looked at me disdained, “Uhh. Perhaps a conversation for another time?” He looked pointedly at me and feeling awkward I decided I would leave.

“I’m just going to go,” I announced, “My shift at the hospital starts soon anyways.”

I lied my shift didn’t start until later in the night. Hours from then. I just felt … unwelcome.

“Awe, come on Red Lips. We didn’t even finish the movie!” Niall complained.

“Maybe another time,” I suggested grabbing my bag and coat. Niall stood up and I pecked him on the cheek for goodbye. “See you later.”

            “See you,” he said back.

“Bye boys,” I said waving at them, “Nice seeing you again even though you don’t really remember me.” Or like me.

They all said bye and I let myself out of the apartment as I heard whispers from the boys.

“She’s the one you’ve been hanging out with so much? The one that was half naked when she opened the door?”
