Chapter 31

Luna POV:

It was time for the biggest battle of the day. Sabertooth VS Fairy Tail. The other matches went well, Mermaid Heel and Lamia Scale managed to tie and Blue Pegasus won against Quatro Puppy. And now it was the battle that everyone waited to see, Master decided that it would be Gajeel and Natsu against the twin dragons of sabertooth. I was seriously annoyed that I couldn't fight but I respected what master said, although I was biting my tongue the whole time. I walked down to the entrance to the arena and saw Natsu and Gajeel waiting to head out.

"You two ok?" I ask.

"Oh hey Luna, yeah were good. Still angry that you can't compete?" Natsu asks me placing an arm around my shoulders.

"Oh trust me I'm going to be angry about this for a long time, but I bet you two are exited to fight. Teach them a lesson for me ok?" I ask and Gajeel nods.

"Will do, head back up to the stands now. The game is about to start." He says.

Natsu then pulls me into his arms and plants a soft kiss on my lips, running his hands through my hair while he kisses me. He then breaks the kiss and we push our foreheads against each other, his breath warm against my skin.

"I'll do my best Lu, just promise that you'll be here when we win?" He asks smiling at me.

I nod and then he walks out into the arena, I run quickly to the Fairy Tail team booth and wait with Erza and Laxus. 

"Everything ok Luna?" Erza asks me.

"I'm ok, I just wish I could fight with them. They hurt one of our own, I just want a couple of punches." I say resting my arms on the booth viewing area.

"I understand that, but you need to understand that the two dragon slayers from sabertooth idolised Gajeel and Natsu when they were kids. Thats why Master sent them to fight." Erza explains resting a hand on my back.

I nod understanding and then watch the fight, it starts off great because Gajeel and Natsu land loads of hits on Sting and Rogue. Sting then sends his White Dragon Roar at Natsu but he manages to dodge it, Sting sends his attack at Gajeel but he manages to dodge and then he dodges an attack from Rogue with his Iron Dragon Sword. The two sabres are being attacked left and right and it doesn't look like they can do anything to stop it, but they both nod at each other and then look back at Natsu and Gajeel.

"White Drive." Sting says with a smirk.

"Shadow Drive." Rogue says in his deep voice.

They are both enveloped in a black and white light and I notice their skin begin to change, I recognise that from when it happened to me the first time...

"Dragon force!" I yell straightening my posture.

They then begin fighting with renewed strength sending attacks left and right at Natsu and Gajeel, they try to fight back but its not looking good. I ball my hands into fists and watch intently desperate for our team to win, Natsu and Gajeel begin to fight with stronger magic attacks. Its like they know exactly where to hit and how to do it, Sting tells Rogue to stay back while he handles Natsu and Gajeel. Gajeel tries to hit sting with his Iron Leg  but he misses and is hit by Sting's attack, Natsu then tries to attack Sting with his Fire Dragon Iron Fist but Sting catches the attack and then kicks Natsu in the stomach sending him flying across the arena. I can feel my eyes begin to water watching this fight, I know that Natsu and Gajeel are strong but with the two of the sabres having been trained by dragons and having a dragon slayer lacrima inside them...I think they may be stronger....Natsu flies into Gajeel causing them both to hit one of the arena walls. Sting jumps into the air and then sends his White Dragon's Holy Breath at both Gajeel and Natsu and this causes the floor of the arena to shatter and they all go falling into it.

"Natsu!" I yell and Erza places a hand on my shoulder.

"He'll be fine, he's a dragon slayer after all." She says offering me a weak smile.

I keep my eyes glued on the screen that has appeared since we can't see whats going on underground, Natsu uses his Fire Dragon Sword Horn to send Sting reeling back which then lets Gajeel send his Iron Dragon Roar directly at Sting. Rogue then joins back in with the fight and the two of them team up to take down Natsu and Gajeel, the announcer beings saying that maybe this will be the end of the match with Sabertooth becoming the winners.

"The time of the old dragon slayers is over, its now time for the new dragons to rise to power." Rogue says crossing his arms.

"Rogue's right, time for you oldies to be put out to pasture." Sting says and sends an attack at Gajeel and Natsu.

Gajeel then says something to Natsu and this causes the two of them to begin fighting, Sting and Rogue look at them dumbfounded while the two bicker like an old married couple. Everyone in the Fairy Tail guild face palms and watches as Natsu knocks Gajeel into a wagon which then unlocks and causes Gajeel's motion sickness to kick in and Gajeel is wheeled away by the wagon he's in.

"Well it looks like its now a two on one battle! Since this was supposed to be a two on two battle the game organisers have decided to allow a tag team member to join the battle! Choose wisely!" The announcer yells and I instantly put my hand up.

"Master send me, there is something I need to show everyone." I say gulping slightly.

"Very well Luna, do us proud!" Master yells at me.

I unleash my dragon wings and fly down to the arena, my cloak flying off in the process exposing my scaled arm and also the scales that have appeared on my back.

"Well it looks like another Dragon Slayer has been selected to join in! Luna Strauss!" The announcer yells as I fly down to Natsu.

I land gracefully with my hands glowing with bright blue flames, Natsu smiles at me and then we stand back to back. He holds my hand in his and my flames combine with his, but then I remember what I told Master. I raise one hand to my chest and the arena is filled with a bright blue light.

"Luna what're you doing?" Natsu asks still holding my hand in his.

"Apocalypse Drive." I mutter and my body is covered in the same blue light.

Natsu instantly lets go of my hand and watches my transformation, even though its similar to Dragon Force my version of Dragon Drive is different. Its more like Erza's re-quip magic, so as the blue light engulfs my body I'm changed into my dragon armor. Its a deep blue and white armor with dragon wings and a tail, it also gives me dragon scaled armor which is the best for protection.

"I never did tell you Natsu, I was too scared." I say once the transformation is complete.

"What didn't you tell me Luna?" He asks with slight worry in his voice.

"I'm a Third Generation Dragon Slayer." I yell and then charge straight for Sting.
