Zac Efron as David King ^
Andy's P.O.V
The bell rang signaling the end of school, normally I'd be over the moon, happy to return home but my book was being held captive by Nate. I groan as I leave my class walking towards the school's back parking lot.
The back parking lot was kind of reserved for the school's 'cool kids', it never interested me to see the legendary parking lot. But here I was, walking through the doors only to be faced with the stares of every cheerleader and football star. I looked around desperately in search of Nate so I could quickly escape all the eyes fixated on me. Before I could find Nate, David appears in front of me with the biggest grin.
"Hi David." I say letting out the breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Sup Andy, I wouldn't think this place would be your type of scene." He says.
"It isn't." I reply.
"If your looking for Nate he's in the back part over there." He's says pointing to the furthest section of the parking lot.
"Thanks."
"No problem, now if you could return the favour?" He says with a smile I raise my eyebrow in confusion.
"Where can I find Emily? She's been avoiding me since lunch." He says scratching his head.
"Oh. She's usually in the library after school, something about the view." I say before he runs away in the wrong direction.
"David, the other way." I shout causing him to swerve quickly, I laugh at his horrible sense of direction.
I try my best to ignore the stares and quickly make my way to the furthest part of the parking lot, I soon spot Nate leaning against a motorbike with some girl clinging tightly to his shoulder. When he spots me he quickly gets up causing the girl to stumble a bit, I try not to laugh as I approach them.
"What took you so long?" He complains.
"School literally just ended, it's actually weird that they're so many people here so quickly." I reply looking around.
"You know, I let the whole 'lunch-time date' slide, because I like to believe I'm giving person. But it's about time you fuck off my man." The girl says.
"For the last time Blair, I am not your man." Nate growls.
"I don't want Nate." I pipe in with a chuckle at the idea.
"Everybody wants Nate." She replies.
"Well I don't, I didn't even know his name until this morning. You know what I really want though? My book." I say with a little bit of agitation, I was getting a little bit pissed that my calm lifestyle was being disturbed so much.
"Oh please, everyone knows your just trying to get attention." She retorts.
"I just want my book." I reply trying to keep my cool.
"This book?" She says before pulling it out Nate's jacket before he could protest.
"Yes! If you could just give it to me, I'll be on my merry way." I say with my hand out.
"This'll be a lesson for the future." She says before chucking it over the school's wall into a tree. I gasp in surprise as she laughs.
I clench my fists trying to subdue my anger. I can feel all the pent up rage rising and I dig deeper into my skin trying to keep it down.
"Aw is she mad." She says.
"You need to shut the fuck up before I break every bone in that rat body of yours." I say without thinking.
Did I just say that?
She stares at me in shock and Nate starts laughing.
"You caused all of this." I say turning my attention to Nate, "you couldn't just leave me alone. Just stay away from me, I want nothing to do with you." I say before walking away. I needed to leave before I punched someone in the face and it'll most likely be the squeaky blonde.
"Come on love, I'll make it up to you." He says running after me.
"Please don't, just leave me alone." I say as I approach the doors.
"Don't be like that." He says behind me.
"Since you don't seem to understand basic English, I'll say it in a way you can comprehend." I say turning to him.
"FUCK OFF!" I say before going through the doors.
-----------------
Oh my God! Did I just say all that?
I cursed! I actually cursed!
My mind was racing as I walked through the school's now empty hall ways. I have to apologise to him, I shouldn't of said that. I actually in a weird way enjoyed Nate's company, I shouldn't of told him to F off.
I was just angry, but how couldn't I be. That girl threw my book over a wall, if I ever got my hands on that little wret-.
Oh my God what am I saying!
I cover my mouth in horror and stop in my tracks.
What the hell was happening to me?
I hear footsteps behind me and I turn to see Nate,
"I am so sorry." I quickly say before he could say anything, "I don't know what came over me, I was just so angry and I couldn't stop myself. I r-"
"Andy, chill." He says pulling me into his arms, I stiffened at the sudden gesture but eventually relax in his arms. I close my eyes as I hug him back, letting myself sink into his warm hold and forget all the things I was worrying about earlier.
"Well aren't you two very cozy." A voice says, I open my eyes to see Emily and David smirking.
I can't stop the colour that invades my checks and Nate slowly pulls away from me, causing me to immediately miss the warmth.
"Let's just go home." I say before walking away, the others follow and I shut out the obvious whispers behind me. It was weird not having my book to hide in, I needed to buy a new version quickly. We exit the school doors quickly and I make my way over to Emily's car.
"Your coming with me." Nate says stopping me from walking any further.
"What? Why?" I say confused.
"I owe you a book." He says giving me a gentle smile. His smiles were more deadly than his sexy smirks.
Sexy?
"That's great cause Emily promised to take me out." David said, I look towards Emily suspiciously.
"I didn't promise shit, I lost a bet." She said before walking towards her car followed by a very proud David. I watch the two drive away and sigh.
"I'm not going back there." I say, referring to the back parking lot.
"I can bring the ride round?" He suggests and I nod. He quickly rushes back inside.
Wait! Nate drives a motorbike.
What did I get myself into......
