Andy's P.O.V
"Complete insubordination and lack of discipline. I expected this much from you Mr.Smith, it's in your DNA to make everything a mess. But not you Ms.Christopher, you are a respectable student with no record of misconduct, this behavior is truly troubling." He finishes with a sigh, his disappointment was evident and I kept my gaze on the ground.
"This was entirely my fault, Andy was just caught in the crossfire." Nate says suddenly.
The principal stares at him analyzing him, trying to tell if he was being serious or just trying to cover for a friend. After a while he broke the deadly gaze and leaned back in his chair while taking a deep breath.
"Two weeks detention." He says finally allowing me to release the breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Detention....that's it? And only two weeks? Have you seen my lab?" Mr. Walker who was standing in the corner exclaimed.
"Did you buy that lab Mr.Walker?" The Principal asks calmly.
"What? No." He responds clearly confused.
"Then it isn't your lab, now leave my office your wet clothes are making my carpet damp." He finishes before he focused his attention on his computer completely forgetting our presence, he looks up a little annoyed after a few minutes.
"What are you waiting for? Get out!" He shouts causing us to rush out the room.
-----------------
"Detention....I've never had detention." I say as Nate and I walk through the halls.
"It's not as bad as T.V makes it appear, you meet interesting people. There's this one guy who's a gang leader." He says nonchalantly.
I stare at him in horror causing him to break out into an uncontrollable laughing spree.
"I'm kidding love." He says still laughing, I stomped away annoyed at how easily he tricked me. He follows suit but doesn't say anything and just walks beside me silently. After we both grab what clothes we could scavenge, we took a quick shower in the changing rooms and changed our soaked clothing in efforts to rid ourselves of all evidence of the foam fiasco.
We meet back at my locker and I prepare myself to head to class.
"What are you doing?" He asks.
"Getting my books for third period." I reply.
"We have thirty minutes before then, we're going to use it to the fullest." He says before shutting my locker and pulling me towards some random stairways. He immediately starts running up the stairs effortlessly, when I look up he's already on the third floor and I was still trying to get up the sixth stair. When I finally reached him, I stood there wiping away the beads of sweat running down my forehead.
"It's seriously alarming how unfit you are." He says watching me in disappointment, I shrug in response.
"We have three more stories." He states and I laugh.
He was joking right?
"I'll carry your lazy ass." He says before picking me up swiftly and throwing me over his shoulder, I let out a small squeal in surprise and don't bother complaining as he scaled the stairs but enjoyed it instead.
When we finally reached the top, he put me down at a locked door and I look at him in annoyance.
"You did not bring me all the way here, only to realise that it's locked." I say angrily.
