Andy's P.O.V

"What do you want to do this weekend?" Nate asks as he ran his fingers through my hair as I laid beside him.

"Didn't we go on that little adventure a few weeks back?" I ask not really excited for another adventure, because that would require some form of exercise.

"You do know that couples do this stuff right? You make it sound like so much work." He says with a chuckle, I just groan in response.

"Okay, fine. But if you aren't careful you're gonna have a jealous bed on your hands." I reply, making him burst out into laughter. "I want to go to a theme park though."

"A theme park? What are you, five?" He retorts.

"Listen here, roller coasters are no joke." I state clearly making him laugh.

"Uh-huh. I've never gone on one, looks chill though."

"Now I'm excited to see you cry." I reply proudly looking forward to the date.

--------------------

"Are you ready Nathaniel?" I tease as we stand at the entrance of the theme park I'd been going to since I was a kid. It was so old that the sign was barely hanging on, but that didn't stop the amount of people pouring in excitedly.

One of the big attractions of this place was not knowing if you'd survive the rides, since they were so old. Nate gave me a skeptical smile but didn't argue as I dragged him into the lion's den. I would've probably chosen somewhere safer for a date but Nate needed to learn a lesson and I'd be the teacher.

After we get out fast pass tickets we head straight for my favorite ride, Wooden Crawler. Because it was wooden it caught my eye as a child, but it was the complete opposite for everyone else. The fact that it was wooden drove them away.

"This is wood." Nate says as we make our way to through the interior.

"And you are male." I reply making him frown.

He remains quiet but continues following me, by the time we reached the boarding edge his calm demeanor had completely faded.
Since there was literally no one else we were able to go on immediately, meaning the front was wide open for the taking.

I run over to the middle seat and immediately buckle myself in while the attendants make the rounds, I look around to find Nate still still at the edge.

"What's wrong?" I ask innocently.

"Nothing." He responds quickly before making his way over to me. "We're just gonna ride a wooden rollercoaster, front row no problem. It's fine, no problem." He says more to himself than to me. He sits down, buckling himself in and tugging on it to make sure he's fine.

"Are you scared Nathaniel?"

"No I'm perfectly fi-" he's cut off when the ride starts to move, "not fine. Not fine at all." He spends up when it starts going up.

"Relax, rollercoasters are chill right?"

"No. I don't want to do this anymore." He says clenching onto to the bar infront him as we continue to go higher and higher, to the point where people looked like ants.

"This is gonna be fun." I say just as we reach the peak of the ride as it starts to turn downwards, I unconsciously laugh to myself at what was to follow.
