The bell rang and it was time for lunch. I was getting all my papers ready and I noticed Aravis and Connor talking lowly at the door waiting for me. As I walked towards them, Aravis looked at me with a sad and worried look on her face. Connor turned around and started to walk to the cafeteria. Aravis and I started to walk after him.

"You okay?" she asked me as we were heading outside to where we always ate our lunch. I looked at the floor while we walked off to our favorite spot. "Yeah I guess I'm okay." I lied. We sat there in silence and ate our food. The rest of the day went by very slowly and boring. It was one of the worst days I've had. We didn't really talk to each other much. It was very weird since we always laughed and talked about what we did over the weekends or planned anything we were to do later on.

We start heading to the parking lot ready to go home. "Are you going to drive again?" asked Connor. I just shook my head and got into the backseat. He started up the car and put the radio on. "So any plans for later on?" Aravis asked. Connor said he didn't have anything to do and asked if I was free to join them. I said I guess it would be cool. They didn't say exactly what we were going to do, but anything to do with my best friends was better than staying alone at home with my own thoughts.

Finally we reached Aravis' house and dropped her off. As she got out of the car she waved good bye and I jumped over to the passenger seat. We drove down the street and straight to home. Connor lowered the music and asked me, "So are you going to be okay bro?" Now that he mentioned it I think I actually was feeling better. I'm weird like that. I would feel so upset one moment and next I would be okay. I get sudden moments where my mood just changes completely. Its confusing. Plus later on I was going to go out with two amazing people. We haven't done anything much in the past few days so I figured it was going to be fun.

"Yeah I'm okay" I tell him with a smile on my face. He looks at me looking kind of confused but cool with the idea of me being fine one of a sudden.

He parks onto his driveway and asks if I wanna go in. I thought about it for a while and said I was better off just going home because I needed to do chores. If I didn't I wouldn't be able to leave the house. I said goodbye and walked two houses down to where my house was. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. That was weird. After what seemed to be about 10 minutes I decided to call my mom's cell phone. "Hello?" I heard her answer. "Uh hey mom where are you guys? I just got home."

"Oh yeah sorry about that, kid. Your dad and I are just over at your brothers school. Something happened. Not too urgent don't worry. I'll call you when we're heading back home. I can't talk too long ok. Go to Connor's house for now. Bye love you." Then she hung up.

I wonder what had happened. Well anyways, back down to Connor's house.
