"WAKE UP!!"
I suddenly woke up as the door flew open to Aravis' mom yelling at us. I forced myself up and walked towards the bathroom with my toothbrush in hand. Once I was done I walked downstairs to find Aravis and Ethan already eating cereal. "There's the box," Aravis said pointing towards the counter, "And the spoons are in the second drawer next to the sink."
As I was getting my breakfast I noticed they were still in their pajamas. "Aravis," I said as she looked up to me, "What are we gonna wear?"
"Oh, I was thinking maybe we could go to this one place where my mom's friend works. He has a bunch of suits and stuff and could help you guys get ready. I already know what I'm going to be wearing but while you guys are finding what you're going to be wearing I'll be getting ready."
I just nodded as I ate my cereal quietly.

" Hurry get off, go! You're going to be late." Her mom yelled at us as we made our way out of her car in our everyday clothes. As we got off I was awed by the building before us. It was tall and looked very nice and fancy. We walked towards it with Aravis in the lead. As we approached the door a lady that I've never seen before came out quickly and allowed us inside.
"These are your friends?" She asked Aravis.
"Yup." She replied.
The lady looked us up and down with a look of disgust. I just raised my eyebrows at her rude gesture. She saw the look on my face and quickly turned around and started to walk with us right behind her.
Everywhere around us there were people walking around holding different sizes and types of bags. They all seemed very busy getting things ready, for what? I didn't know.
After around 3 minutes, we ended up in a long and narrow hallway. Both sides of the hallway had a lot of doors, the floor was a red velvet-ish sort of color.
We ended up stopping at a door that was all black and a long way into the hall. The lady knocked and we heard someone start to move around behind the door. As we're waiting to go inside important looking people passed us, every once in awhile one would greet the strange woman we were with.
The door opened and a man about as tall as me told us to go inside. "Thank you," he said to the lady, then he turned to us, " so let's start."
He was in a very good mood and told us to sit. As we sat down he turned around and walked into what looked like a really big walk in closet. We could hear him rummaging with things in there but we just sat there waiting for him to return. The room was fairly big. It was nice too, in my opinion. There were all sorts of cool things covering the walls and drawers were along the perimeter of the room, all of whom held nice little decorations that looked very fragile. I turned to look at Ethan who was sitting to my left and noticed that he too was taking in this innovative look of the room. Aravis, however, didn't look too impressed with all this.
Then Ethan, noticing the same thing, asked, "Have you been here before, Aravis?" She just nodded waiting for the guy to return.
Finally, he walked back into the room we were in, looking quite excited. "Well then," he said clapping his hands together, "why don't we start with you." Ethan got up slowly and slightly confused, turning to look at us before following the guy back into the closet. In about five minutes he walked out of the room and told me to go inside next. As I got up to leave I turned around and asked Ethan what had happened. "Oh nothing big really. Just checking your size." he answered. I looked at him very startled by this, "Um, my size?" Ethan's eyes widened and he laughed, "That's not what I meant nasty ass" I just laughed and walked into the room.
I stood at the door as the guy was looking through one of the cabinets. "Ok," he started off, "for right now I'm only going to get your measurements and then you're going to follow me into another room, along with your other friend of course." I stood there with my arms outstretched as he took a measuring tape and measured around my chest. Then he did around my neck, arms, and so on. It didn't take too long and once we were done he told me to go back and call Aravis. I walked out of the room and nodded towards Aravis indicating for her to go in next.
She left the room and then Ethan turned to me. "I thought she said she already knew what she was wearing. Why does she need to get her sizes?"
"I don't-" but just then the guy had walked in and interrupted, "ok now you two come with me."
We walked out of his room and were back into the hallway. "Where's Aravis?" I asked him. He just kept walking and swung open a door that wasn't too far from his own. "Well here you are, Dorris" he said to a younger looking lady, then he handed her two small pieces of paper and left. She turned to look at us two and asked, "k, which ones Ethan and which ones Connor." She looked up and we told her who was who. Her room was much bigger than the guy's room. It wasn't really decorated much though. We followed her to the far end of the room where there stood two racks full of suits. Around us there were other people there doing this and that with clothes and I don't know what. She called over a guy who looked around his 40's and had a small beard growing. She started talking quickly to him and he nodded. He pulled me aside and told me that he was going to start to fix me up.
Ethan stayed with the lady and he seemed to be enjoying himself. As the lady turned to look through the rack of clothes he turned to me and put his thumbs up with a big smile on his face. I just smirked and looked away. This guy, too, was looking at a little piece of paper, which I reckon he got from 'Dorris'. He looked at me, then he looked down at the shirt he was holding, then he looked at me again. "Here" he said, "Go try this on. Walk ahead over there and you'll find a changing room." I took the white shirt and walked past a group of girls, all of whom started pointing and giggling as I walked by. I chose to ignore them and walked along.

After what seemed to have been three hours both me and Ethan were finally done. We each stood side by side as they fixed our hair and our bow ties. Ethan, still looking rather pleased with himself, followed Dorris into a private room where she was going to put something in his hair because it just wouldn't stay the way she wanted it to.
"There" the guy said, "You can go sit over there and wait for your friend. After he comes back just go ahead and head back to the previous room you were in" I did as he said and went to go sit down on a chair next to the door. Ethan came out of the room smiling wider than ever. I stood up and lead him out into the hall, "what did you do?" I asked him. A mischievous smile spread across his face as he said, "Oh nothing, why would you ask that? She was just fixing my hair yanno."
We walked back to the first room as I wondered what could have possible made him feel so giddy.
