I walked into my room with a bowl full of popcorn and the game "Uno". Connor and Ethan were both sitting on the floor talking.
"You guys wanna play?" I asked them. They looked up and and nodded. I set all the cards on the floor and we began to play. We sat there for about thirty minutes playing and then just got tired of it.
"You have any movies, Aravis?" Ethan asked me. I just shook my head as I began to put everything up. "Do you have Netflix?" he asked.
"Yeah." I replied, "Here you can put what ever you want." I passed him the control to my TV and he sat there thinking of what he could put on.
"Have you watched "Captain America: Civil War?" I heard Connor ask. Then I replied, "No. Put it on." So then he put the movie on and we all sat in silence on the floor watching it. We were quiet through out the whole thing and every once in a while one of us would go to refill our bowl of popcorn.

I suddenly woke up to a loud crash coming from the TV. We were still watching the movie. I turned to look at Connor and Ethan, they both looked very interested and didn't even realize I drifted off. I turned to look at the time and it was already going to be three in the morning.
"You guys," I said in a raspy voice, "Is it almost over?"
"Mhm yeah," said Connor waving his hand at me distractedly.
I got up off the floor and laid on my bed. "When you guys are done there just go ahead and take the couch if you want. Or you can just sleep on the floor, it doesn't really matter."
I laid there in silence trying to go back to sleep but I couldn't. I turned to look at them, they were still engrossed in the action. I didn't know why I couldn't sleep. I was so tired but I just couldn't get comfortable. Just as I felt my eye lids get heavier, I heard Connor get up quickly and run to the door. Then I heard him yell, "Aravis! Where the fuck is your bathroom, I'm about to fucking shit myself!"
Ethan got up giggling and headed out the door, directing him to the restroom. Then he came back in.
"What was that all about?" I asked him suspiciously.
"Well, I put Magnesium Citrate in his juice," he said in a know-it-all tone, still laughing. He must've seen the puzzled look on my face because he added, "It gives you the shits." Then I understood what he meant by that. I shook my head slightly laughing.
"Ok then," I told him, "I'm going to go to sleep now so keep it down."
Then Ethan walked closer to me. Since I was laying on my bed, he was on his knees so that our faces were at the same level. "Aravis," he said.
"What?" I replied slightly annoyed because I was really tired.
"I- I like you." he said, his face looking gloomy.
"Oh... Is that a bad thing?"
"No, no" he said hastily, "Not at all. It's just.... I know you don't see me in that way."
I stayed quiet not knowing what to say. I mean, he was my best friend. I never really did look at him in that way before. So I said the only thing that came to mind, "I'm really sorry Ethan."
There was silence for about a few seconds then he spoke up. "It's okay." Then he did something I didn't think he would do.
He leaned over and kissed me on my forehead. I was glad it was dark because I have to admit, I actually blushed :)
"Good night," I whispered, with a smile on my face. "Good night" he replied. Just then I heard the toilet flush. I must have fallen asleep right after that because I don't remember seeing Connor walk into the room or them turning the movie off. I woke up, though, to them laying there on the floor, hands still in the popcorn bowl.
