I wake up excited to go to school. The birds are chirping, wind is blowing, and the sun is shining. I jump out of my bed and start playing some music. No ones at home with me right now so I put it as loud as I want. As I'm dancing while combing my hair I turn to look at the time just to make sure I'm not running late. I put a big smile on my face and get all my stuff ready to go. That is how my amazing day started.

Just kidding, is that even possible? I woke up as usual, wishing I still had ten more hours of sleep. I drag myself out of my bed and go brush my teeth. Blah, blah, blah the regular things you would hear. I gather my stuff and grab the house keys. As I'm walking out of the door Connor and Ethan arrive just in time. I walk towards them and jump in the backseat as always. I look at both of them. "Woah, whats wrong? You guys look more dead than you usually do in the mornings." Ethan turns to look at me as Connor starts to head towards the school. "We stayed up almost all night playing video games. We realized how late it was at about four in the morning so please don't bother us the entire day okay?" I wasn't really surprised. They've done this many times before.

We're sitting in our first period and while I'm doing the class work, trying to finish in time, I notice both Connor and Ethan falling asleep. "Psst." Connor opens one of his eyes lazily and looks at me. "What do you want?" he asks me. "Wake up and pay attention you're gonna fail." I tell him. "Nah, I'm good." and he closes his eyes again. Well at least I tried. I turn to my left where Ethan is sitting. I lean in closer to him and whisper, "I'm not going to give you the answers you know." He opens his eyes and looks at me. He has bags under his eyes and is more than half asleep. "Okay? What's your point?" he replies. Oh my god. Never mind. If they fail, then they fail that's not my problem.

After what seemed to be eternity, but was really just an hour, the bell rings. I get up and start gathering all my things to go to the next class. I turn to look at them both and they don't seem to notice we're leaving. I get my water bottle out of my backpack and start pouring it right onto them. Well that didn't seem to work. Damn, I was ready to leave them there but the teacher started to walk over with a big math book. She looks at both of them and slams the thing as hard as she can on the desk.Quickly they notice what's going on and walk out of there awkwardly.

As we're walking to our next class it's quiet, all because they're walking in their sleep. Out of nowhere Connor suddenly says, "Why don't we ditch?" I look at him wondering how in the world we're friends. Ethan quickly starts to nod and says it's a great idea. They both turn to me waiting for a reply. I look around not really wanting to ditch. "Uumm, " I start off, "I really don't see that as a great idea." They both look at me and almost beg me to go with them.

I don't know why or how but they got me to agree with them. I highly regretted it. We're walking to the hallway that's always empty trying to leave as soon as possible. Near the end of that hallway there's an exit. Once we walk out of the exit we quickly make our way around the school to reach Connor's car. Surprisingly we didn't get caught. Since they were both practically asleep still, I decide to drive. "So where do we go?" I ask turning to look at them before I actually turn the car on. They didn't seem to be paying attention and were just drifting back to sleep in their seats. I look at my watch and it's barely 8 AM.
