I woke up suddenly to someone hitting me over the head. "Ow! What was that for?" I ask as I realize it was just Aravis. I turn to look at Ethan who's just standing there drowsily. "Well get up, we're not going to carry you." she replies. I open the car door and walk towards my front door. As I'm walking I ask her, "Why'd you bring us to my house?" They follow me into the living room and she says, "You guys looked dead, where else did you want to go?"
The rest of the day we stayed home and watched Netflix. We ordered pizza and decided to play Monopoly at around eleven. My parents were both working and my little sister was at school still. We had nothing to do but in my opinion it was better than going back to school. We just hang out and listened to music talking about anything that came to mind. Everything was going perfectly fine until I heard my dog barking and growling furiously in the backyard.
"Ssshh" I told them holding a finger to my mouth. Aravis turned the music off quickly and the three of us sat there on the floor trying to hear what was going on. I quickly got up and walked towards the curtains leading to the backyard. I open them slightly so that I could get a view of why my dog was suddenly going crazy. He wasn't the type of dog to bark at everything.
As I peek through the curtains I notice he stopped barking, and I couldn't see him anywhere in sight or anything unusual going on. "Well that was weird," I tell them, "Nothing was there and he just stopped." I turn to walk back towards Aravis and Ethan, who are just sitting there looking at me, and I hear something very loud hit the glass door behind me. All three of us suddenly jump and I turn quickly to check what the noise was. As I open the curtains yet again I highly regretted doing so. I violently turned away from what I was seeing and fell to the floor. I felt everything coming up at once. I'm on the floor on all fours and suddenly a large amount of vomit falls out of my mouth. I hear Aravis and Ethan quickly get up to check on me as I'm holding on to my stomach with tears in my eyes.
Aravis puts a shaking hand on my shoulder with a very scared and worried look and asks me, "What's going on? Are- are you okay?" I shake my head quickly as I feel the hot tears running down my face. I felt anger build up inside me along with grief. Ethan walks slowly towards the door to see what was happening. I hear the curtains open once more and notice he doesn't move as he looks at the scene before him. I get up shakily and walk towards the restroom. As I'm walking down the hall with tears still rolling down my face, I hear Aravis start to cry as Ethan showed her what I had seen.
