As they flew closer to the building Jason's heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest. Even through the thick snow he could make out a concrete building turning yellow in color as they got closer bullets and bodies shattered through glass sending them into the snow. Jason's feet touched the crisp snow. Trudging through the snow Jason reached the entrance where Damian was fighting a group of thugs. Jason races over to him grabbing one of them by their hood spinning them around landing a punch across their cheek. Two more thugs were barreling towards Jason with knives in their grasps. Jason swiftly slings his leg up connecting with one of their cheeks knocking him clear over. Lunging at the second thug he latches onto her wrist snapping it back. Knocking her knife out her hand sending it into his hand; in a swift motion he slices her though clean open, blood sparing him. Jason bends over taking her gun from her dead body before turning to Damian.

"Damian where's the Joker?" Jason huffs.

"Roy and Batman followed him out that door." Damian points.

Jason quickly races over to where he was pointing leading him too a narrow medal bridge with thin bars on either side of him. The sound if his point echoed though out the empty room. From ahead of him he could hear Bruce shouting (Y/n) name. "Batman!" He calls after him.

The Dark Knight turns around waiting for Jason to catch up. "Jason," he says once he catches up, "there's one room I still haven't checked yet." Jason catches his breath before running after Bruce.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" They both shouted into the factory kicking open brown double doors. Inside into was an old fading office. Bruce's flash light barely illuminated the dark cold room. Jason shuttered only thinking where he family was in the ice box of a building; his own breath fogging up in front of him. Broken drown class shook from the winds from the weather outside. In front of them was an glass over look that loomed over a cemetery of broken down pipes and equipment. Jason pressed his warm nose against the cold glass for a closer look. It was familiar to him, he bit his lower lip as Batman shinned his light around the room. As the light scanned the room, a small flicker caught his eye.

"Bats over here." He directs. Bruce shines light to where he was pointing. In the darkness it still flickered faintly, "it's...a stretcher bed." Jason took a step back balling up his fist and punches his hand through the glass with all his strength. Pulling his hand out he takes another step back swiftly crashing the heel of his boot into the glass causing cracks to form. Bruce follows after him punching at the glass and in a loud crash the glass shatters on to the chipping tile floor below them.

The both lead down from the ledge landing in shattered glass. "Let me see you hand." Bruce grabs Jason blooded palms pulling out the larger pieces of glass out of his hand. He grabs some bandages and gauzes from his belt setting the gauzes into his open wound stopping the bleeding and wrapping the white bandage around his hand. "It's the best I can do right now."

"Thanks. Let's keep looking."

As they approached the stretcher bed in the darkness he could make out a frail skinny figure that sat on the floor. "(Y/n)?" Jason whispered. Carefully he approaches the figure time seemed to slow down, inches felt like miles as he got closer to make out the body. The body was covered in dirt and healing scars on her body, she sat shivering and chained to a pipe on the cold floor with nothing on but a simple dinghy white night gown. "(Y/n)!" Jason crouched down to her whipping away her hair away from her face and and unlocking her chains with a pin. Gently he slides her hand through the chain.

Breath was caught in his throat as he cupping her cold face gently bringing it closer to his.

"(Y/n)!....I'm so sorry." Jason gently strokes the J on her cheek with his thumb, he shuttered at the pain she must've went through. (Y/n) flinches away from him staring back at him with confusion.
