A suprise

Winter has set upon Gotham blankets of snow seven inches deep covered the whole city and the flu has spread throughout the city like wild fire. Luckily the GCPD had a back up generator but even that wasn't enough. Even with the blankets they did have it was basically like having a piece of paper over your body and inside was just as cold as inside. It's been a few days since the group with Alfred and Damian had left to get the weapons from Gotham Harbor. They were supposed to be back days ago but a surprise storm had them delay their trip leaving Jason, Roy, Starfire, and Gordon at the GCPD along side with the cops.

Dick had left yesterday to go find them and with the horrid of infected people with the Joker toxin growing bigger it was only going to be a matter of time before they get over run. Bruce, Tim and the forensic scientist were still at S.T.A.R labs creating a cure. Though not all hope was lost, the League had arrived yes but even with their help it would take a while to round up all of Gotham's finest criminals and rebuild something to contain them.

Staring at the window as ice started to crystallized in the corner of the windows Jason gripped his body tighter to keep from. shivering. He could only imagine what (Y/n) was going through, imaging her pregnant in this cold worried him greatly. Was she okay? Was she even alive? Was his child even alive? Would they come up with a cure in time? Will they ever get to Molly before Joker?

Jason pulled his hood over his face grabbing his leather jacket and heading down the steps to the front doors. "Hey,hey Jason wait!" Starfire called our to him gripped his wrist. "What are doing?"

"Looking for Molly. I have to get to them before he does."

"I understand the rush but we have to stay here."

"We know where she is Starfire!"

"And how do you even plan to get to her against the storm, hm?" Roy added, "we don't have any cars with gas, even if we did they can't drive on the ice and snow, we barely have any ammunition left, in total you only have five bullets left give or take, we still don't have a cure for the toxin yet. I understand the rush but what your thinking about doing is a death sentence."

Jason shrugged slipping his arms through the sleeves of us jacket. "I've dealt with worse odds and I've been dead before in case you haven't noticed Arsenal death is the least of my problems."

Walking toward the doors of building that were barricaded Jason began pulling the chairs and desks out the way. Footsteps could be heard behind him, rolling his eyes he kept pulling; next to him a bench began to drag across the floor as a desk from his right levitate off the ground. Looking over his shoulders, Roy and Star we're pulling and moving the furniture.

"They're back! They're alive!" Someone called out from behind them. They all stopped what they were doing just as the group with Damian and Alfred walk into the precinct with bags of guns and ammunition on each shoulder with Grayson close behind. One by one the officers started to grab guns and load them.

"Good to see your not dead, squirt." Jason jokes slapping Damian's shoulder.

"I will cut off your hand Todd." The younger boy hissed. Alfred shook his head and smiled softly at Jason.

From a distance Dick stood away from everyone with his hands folded over his chest, "Jason," he motioned him with his finger to come to him.

"Okay everyone don't get to comfortable I still need a group to go get Molly and another to stay here and hold down the fort." Gordon answered.

Jason made his way to Dick following him into Gordon's office shutting the door behind him. "I found this on our way back.." a black rectangular vhs tape with the words, happy birthday written on tape on the front of the tape. "It was found on...Harley Quinn's body. I'm not sure how long she was there for but-"
