"I love you. I always have, from that awkward night we first met to the night you kissed me. I've always loved you."
Her eyes laid upon his, giving him butterflies seeing her beautiful green eyes look at him with lust.
He grabbed her by the hips and kissed her passionately. It was the like fire they both had been seeking. This kiss was more intense than the first, he never wanted to let go.
She pulled away and smiled at him, "Don't ever leave me."
He gave her a warm look, "Don't worry, as long as i'm alive you'll always be in my heart."
He knew that part was true, he had never been with someone that made him feel like this. Someone who gave him butterflies everytime they said his name. Someone who could make him drop everything just to be at their assistance. He loved her.
"Duncan?"
"Yes baby?"
"I-"
"Duncan! It's 11 already get up!"
Duncan groggily looked at his clocked and sighed.
If only.
He thought.
He got up and put on the same sweats he had on the night before, when he picked up Derek from Tate's house.
He walked down stairs and as soon as he saw her he felt like all the air in the world had been taken away.
He couldn't move, so he just stood on the stairway frozen.
"Duncan? You okay?" She asked him.
Duncan caught his breath and continued to greet his family.
"Im fine. Morning everyone."
He couldn't believe how normal she was acting. Like nothing happened.
Why was she even here? Ever since the party her and Derek fought like crazy. So she stopped coming over to see him.
At least that's what Duncan thought.
"So Chelsea, tell us how you've been. It's been so long!" Duncan's mother said as she sat down in the dining chair across from Chelsea. Duncan stood in the kitchen drinking orange juice from the carton.
Chelsea smiled, "I've been great, and i'm sorry it's been so long it's just after my birthday i needed some time to step back and think about what i want with my life."
She gave Duncan the look he loved. The look of "I want you, but you're not mine." Type of look.
He put the orange juice in the fridge and walked upstairs.
"Well, i have to get going now. Derek came home late last night so he should be up in a few. Bye Duncan love you!"
She yelled as he walked up the stairs.
"Love you too." He mumbled.
He got to his room and shut his door, and immediately started to pace back and forth.
She's here.
Why is she here.
Why.
Just as his thoughts were attacking him, he heard a knock.
"Duncan, its Chelsea. Can we talk?"
He took a deep breath and opened his door.
She looked at him up and down, admiring his toned body.
"Im sorry." Were the only words she was able to spit out.
He had to resist the urge to roll his eyes.
"Sorry for what? Breaking my heart or making me fall in love with my brothers girlfriend?"
Chelsea began to talk then she realized what he said.
"Fall in love?"
He took a deep breath and looked at her with his icy teal eyes.
"Yes. I fell in love with you everyday more and more. But clearly you didn't feel the same so what's the point."
Chelsea sighed, "I did. I loved you too. But after the kiss i wasn't sure what i wanted anymore, i didn't know if i wanted to be with Derek or not. I didn't know if you felt the same way about me. I was so confused then you never called, or texted. I never wanted to come over here anymore because i was afraid if i did i would see you and it would break me. I love you, Duncan."
Duncan stood there listening to his heart beat out of his chest.
"Then why are you with him?"
"Why do you think i'm here today. I can't spend another day pretending to love him."
Duncan walked closer to her and looked in her beautiful eyes.
I am never gonna get bored of this.
He kept looking at her lips, trying to resist the urge to kiss her.
"Chelsea Faye Coleman, i love you." He said right before he pulled her in for a kiss.
Her hand ran through his thick black hair and his cupped her face.
This is wasn't a dream.
This was actually happening.
When they pulled away he was so in love with her gorgeousness that he didn't even notice Derek standing in the doorway.
