The wind’s blowing really hard and it’s almost ice cold. Good thing this store has a coffee machine. 'Di ko kayang tiisin 'yung lamig. And as I patiently wait for Kuya Seth, hindi ko maiwasang tingnan 'yung mukha niya na hanggang ngayon, wallpaper pa rin ng phone ko.

I sighed. “If only you chose me, Marco,” I whispered sadly. Pero agad ko ring itinago 'yung phone ko. 'Di ako pwedeng maging malungkot ngayon. Kailangan masaya ako.

Makikita ko na ulit si Ate Bianca at Kuya Seth. That should make me happy.

I stood up and finished drinking my coffee. Saka ko nakita 'yung pagtigil ng itim na kotse sa tapat nung tinatayuan ko, nagsibabaan 'yung mga sakay ng kotse. I easily recognized that guy kahit nakatalikod siya.

Tama nga ako, si Kuya Seth na 'yun. He immediately ran towards me. He asked about my flight to Korea pero mas pinili kong 'wag nang ikwento. Then he introduced me to his friends.

They’re all cute and super nice. Especially Chan. Nakakatawa siya, ang tangkad pa. But then, there’s this other tall guy who seemed uninterested in my presence.

Pero he’s a gentleman. He extended his hand naman when Kuya Seth introduced me to him. I noticed his eyes, though. They were so deep and mysterious. I wonder what’s with him. He did not even smile. But that’s okay. Oh, he was Kris.

Wala namang awkward moment with his friends dahil lahat sila very accommodating. Well, except for that one guy who preferred to be alone in his own world.

“Kuya Brent! Here!” malakas na tawag ni Kuya Seth sa lalakeng pababa ng yacht. His smile almost reached his ears.

The guy looked up. “Seth! Brother!” Tumakbo siya palapit kay Kuya Seth.

“Long time, Kuya! Kamusta?”

Kuya Seth seemed really happy. He hasn’t seen his big brother for so long.

After introducing his brother to everyone, nagyaya na si Kuya Seth na sumakay na kami sa yacht. Lumalalim na rin 'yung gabi.

“Sabi ni Bianca siya ang susundo sa'min,” medyo malungkot na sabi ni Kuya Seth.

I passed my bag to him. “Kuya naman. Baka busy lang 'yun sa pag-prepare ng mga rooms,” I said. “Besides, you’ll have all summer to be together.” I tried to cheer him up.

“Oo nga naman, Seth,” Chan appeared at my back all of a sudden. “Magkikita naman kayo mamaya, e. Ayiiie!” Umakto pang parang kinikilig si Chan.

When everything was all settled, sumakay na kaming lahat. Kuya Brent will drive for us. About an hour din 'yung byahe from the port to the beach house kaya kani-kaniyang pahinga muna 'yung mga kaibigan ni Kuya Seth.

Inilabas ko 'yung phone ko, put my earphones on and played my favorite song na nakaka-relax sa'kin, lalo kapag nagiging melancholic ako. The cool wind just reminded me of memories from the past.

“Kuya Seth, sa kitchen muna ako,” paalam ko before adjusting my phone’s volume to full blast.

I walked to the vehicle’s kitchen. Nakaramdam ako ng gutom dahil sa lamig. Buti medyo cozy sa kitchen. Nakakahilo nga lang 'yung galaw ng sasakyan. I hummed along with the song as I searched for food sa fridge. I only found a sandwich and juice kaya 'yun 'yung kinain ko.
