Because it's been a year since I finished this short story. Wala na si Kris sa EXO but my feels for him are still as strong as they were originally.:)

When you begin to love someone, you would, more often than not, also start to question your feelings for that person. You would ask yourself if what you feel is actually real or simply a product of excitement, or merely because you want to forget a part of your past, and you think that loving someone would heal your brokenness and fill up the empty space in your shattered heart. Then you’d also question that person’s feelings for you—if it’s real, or if it’s worth it. And when you find the answers to your questions, you would soon feel scared of being left behind yet again; feeling not worthy enough for that someone’s love, and you would think that they don’t deserve you, or that they don’t love you enough for them to stay.

Kris fell in love with Sara who has always loved his friend, Kai. Rei loved Marco so much that she sacrificed everything she got just to be with him. He was hurt, but he remained her friend. She was hurt, but she still chose to stay with him. Kris knew he couldn’t do anything to make her love him back, so he moved on. Rei had enough and finally decided to leave because all he ever did was lie, and she knew she deserved better.

They met in a glorious place and eventually found comfort in each other. Kris, who has always been cold, became the warmest person he could be. Rei, who was just recently broken, learned she could still smile and laugh genuinely. And they realized there could be something else in there apart from the wonderful and dreamy feeling the beach gave them. They knew there was something more special between them. And they knew it could be a chance to fall in love once again—to feel loved once again.

Don’t Go is a story of two broken souls who found the missing pieces to make their shattered hearts whole again in each other. It all began with one encounter and ended with forever. But the journey they went through was full of tears and sorrow, too—full of doubts, questions, uncertainties and fears. Yet they conquered and found themselves happily committed to each other.
