Hindi na ako nakatulog ulit so I waited for the boys at the sala. Few minutes later, nagsibabaan na sila. Chan was still sleepy and he clung on Hans’ shoulders. Dominic prepared the food we will bring, habang sina Kai at Sara, inaayos 'yung mga bags and other things na dadalhin namin.

“Ang aga mo yata, Kris?” curious na tanong ni Seth as he planted his backpack on the sofa. “Hindi ka ba nakatulog?”

I shrugged. “What time are we leaving?”

“10 minutes, guys!” Dominic shouted from the kitchen. That’s the answer I needed.

Lumapit si Bianca kay Seth. “Seth, may extra shirt ka na bang dala? Towellets? Bottled water? Ano pa'ng kulang?” she asked as she checks on his bag.

Matamis na ngiti 'yung nabuo sa mga labi ng kaibigan ko. “Everything’s settled, Bee.” He pulled his girl closer and kissed her on the cheek.

“Alright,” Bianca blushed. “Gisingin ko lang si Rei.”

He held his girlfriend’s hand. “I love you, Bianca.” Seth said those words thoughfully and genuinely.

“I love you, Seth,” she responded sweetly. And she let go of his hand.

I smirked at the scene. Seth seemed so in love with Bianca. They’ve been together for like their whole lives but they were still so evidently in love with each other.

Then there’s Kai and Sara who obviously got jealous of the first couple at naglambingan na rin in front of me.

“Come on, guys! Be sensitive.”

I looked at Chan who was sitting on the sofa on my left. He was pointing at me while talking, his eyes still closed.

Inabot ko 'yung unan malapit sa'kin at ibinato 'yun sa ulo niya. He instantly returned to his senses.

“What was that for?!” he exclaimed.

“Tigil-tigilan mo ako, Chan, ha.”

Kai and Sara laughed at us.

Chan raised his hands. “Okay, okay. Guilty ka masyado.”

I hissed at him.

But seriously, though. Hindi ako naiirita o naiinis whenever I see those two couples showing off their love for one another. The truth is, I was starting to envy them.

Yet, I believed that the right person would come someday. I just have to wait for the right time.

I hastily got up from my bed nang marinig ko si Ate Bianca na kumakatok sa pinto.

‘I’m in my bed? How did I end up here?’ The last thing I remembered, nasa seaside ako. Sino'ng nagdala sa'kin dito?

“Alex! Come on. Paalis na tayo.” Ate Bianca peeked at my door.

Dali-dali kong kinuha 'yung bag na prinipare ko for today’s early mountain climbing spree. I checked myself in the mirror. The view of me wearing Kris’ sweater made me smile. But then, sadness filled my heart nang maisip ko na days from now, babawiin niya rin 'to, aalis din siya.

I sighed, and walked out of the door.

I put on a happy smile when I reached the last step of the stairs. “I’m ready!”

Napatingin silang lahat sa'kin, pero isang pares ng mga mata lang 'yung sinalubong ko. I could see him smile from that distance. I knew I blushed, ramdam na ramdam ko 'yung pag-init ng pisngi ko.
