(Chapter 2: Legend of the Guardian of Lovebloom)
Chrys's Pov: the next morning
After last night my eyes haven changed back to normal which was worrying. Rose suggested talking to cupid to see if he knows. "Cupid does know everything...well mostly...but still, we'll find him later" I said, Rose nodded. We got changed and headed to the station.
"Hey Romance duo" Said chief walking towards us with Leandre. "Whoa Romance Cop what's with your eyes?" asked Leandre. "I really don't know...they changed last night unexpectedly..." I responded to Leandre.
"We're gonna talk to Cupid to see if he knows. speaking of cupid, Did he talk to you two about the situation?" asked Rose, the two nodded. "Yeah, the rose issue is back but worse. However, we found something left by the culprit." said chief handing us a slip of paper. I looked at it and read it out loud.
'Hello Chief of the police force,
I see you've learn about the issue for that cupid. You want this to stop? Then hand over to guardian of Lovebloom!
-Chaos'
"Whoever this is is insane, but whose the guardian of Lovebloom?" I asked chief. All she did was shrug, "I'm not sure. But Cupid might have answers for us." "Someone say my name?" asked Cupid as he walked over to us. "Yeah, we need your help...Do you know about this?" Chief asked him, handing him the slip of paper.
He looked at it then at us, "Yes, The guardian of Lovebloom was an old warrior that protected this city from a dark force. Long ago the warrior sealed the force away but vanished with it. Many years later dad found out the power of the warrior was lingering in Lovebloom. He took it and kept it safe in mount. Olympus."
He took a breath before continuing, "However it wasn't safe for long when someone tried to steal it. Zeus saw the intruder and used his lighting to stop the intruder."
Cupid sighed, "in doing so the power went flying off and to the earth below. My parents and others tried to find the power but they couldn't find it. what they didn't know is that it landed in Lovebloom again. this time it found a warrior to keep its power safe. A baby was given the power, but we don't know who..."
We stared shocked as Cupid finished his story. "Do you know how we can find him or her?" asked Leandre. "You looking at her" Cupid said looking towards me, the others did as well. "M-Me?" I asked pointing at myself. Cupid nodded, "Yes Chrys, you are the new warrior of Lovebloom city"
