Rose's Pov
Chrys's father stood 7 ft tall. A couple inches taller than me. Chrys was almost my height. But chrys was behind me cowering in fear. "I expect a better answer chrys." He said in a rough tone. He then looked at me, "and who are you?"
I huffed and responded, "I'm Rose, I'm Chrys's partner" I noticed Leandre was Whispering something to Heather with a worried look. "Partner? I expect my daughter to be able to handle herself. But apparently she can't even face me" He said making me mad. Chrys stepped out infront of me.
"Now that's more like it. Now come her Chrys" He said to Chrys. Chrys shook her head no. He growled and stepped forward. He raised in arm to hit Chrys.
SMACK
I felt a sting on my face. I stood in front of Chrys and took the hit for her. "D-Detective..." she stuttered out. I glanced back at her, "I'm fine..." I then looked at her father with narrowed eyes. My shades were cracked. I took them off not needing then anymore.
"You listen here Mr. Stargazer! I'm sick and tired of Chrys being this way because of what you've done to her!" I shouted at him. He glared at Chrys who whimpered in fear, "why you little-" I cut him off but shoving him hard back.
"you stay away from her you ass! You have no respect for how your treated your own daughter for so long! You broke her! I will not stand for you to do this shit to her anymore!" I shouted at him.
He stepped back in shock. Leandre stepped forward, "Rose is right! I had to watch Chrys deal with this for three out of the eight years she was abused by you, sexually harassed by her brother, and your fucking wife doing experiments on her! Your a dick Mr. Stargazer and I hope you rot in hell!"
He snarled a bit, he seemed to recognize leandre, "you little bitch! It's all your mother's fault! Or else I would've-" "You would've kept Chrys as a prison and experiment! I couldn't stand to see Chrys be turned into a depressed, scared of everything, girl living in a world where she won't be able to do anything!!" I shouted at him.
Heather walked over to us, "everyone please calm dow-" Chrys father swung and hit Heather. Leandre snapped at him, "How fucking dare you hit my girlfriend!" I felt Chrys grip onto my coat Whimpering, "p-please....stop..."
"That's enough...all of you" said a voice. I looked and say blu, she was pissed off. "Blu" said Chrys's father. "Archer" blu said calmly once more. Blu hit archer, he stumbled back and went back at her hitting her a couple of times sending blu down. Chief and Leandre went at him but they didn't stand a chance.
I took my coat and hat off then went at him next. I dodged his attacks several times but he got me from behind and sent me down. He grabbed my hair and yanked me up, "Your more than her partner aren't you. You two are just like those two pathetic bitches"
I didn't answer him, making him mad ad he threw me down. He kicked me in the stomach several times. I coughed up blood. He smirked and continued to attack and beat on me.
"Get away from my rose!!!" Screamed Chrys. I managed to look over and saw her blue rosed eyes active and glowing. She growled and went at him. Chrys had better attack and stamina than her father due to her powers. Soon she won but her father got away.
Chrys took her phone and called the ambulance. Afterward she sat beside me, "a-are you okay?" I nodded as my vision blurred.
'Thank you....my rose....'
Everything went black.
