Romance Detective 3: Return of the Roses

Chapter 3: Situation

Chrys's Pov:

"W-What?" is all I managed to say. "I know it's hard to believe but you are the Warrior..." said Cupid to me. I nodded still trying to process this.

'So they know now, excellent!'

I jumped in surprise at the voice, 'who...' I thought to myself. 'Oh my apologies, I am Crystal, I was the old guardian of Lovebloom.' 'O-Oh it's nice to meet you...' 'The pleasure is mine. Partner'

Before anything else was said my me or her. Cupid interrupted me by saying, "Sorry to interrupt you conversation with Crystal. But we need to figure this out."

I nodded at his statement. "Right, this psycho is after the guardian. So he or she is after Chrys." Said the chief. I went back to processing the situation again.

"Then we make sure that person doesn't see its Chrys" said leandre, cupid nodded and faced me, "Well have to fix the eye issue."

'Leave that to me. Just blink Chrys'

I did as Crystal told me, I blinked and looked at the others. "Well that takes care of that" said Cupid. I smiled a bit and chief sent us home. Detective and I walked home together in silence.

Once I got home I looked at Rose. "Detective....you haven't spoken after we found out I was the guardian.....are you okay?" I asked her. She looked at me and replied, "I'm not okay..."

"What's wrong Detective" I asked her. "I don't want you to be taken away from me" Rose said to me. "I won't Detective, as long as my eyes don't change, I'll be fine" I said to her.

All rose did in response was hug me. I hugged back and we headed off to bed.

'Good night Chrys. We have alot to talk about in the dream world....'

*DreamWorld*

Chrys walked around, "Crystal? You wanted to talk to me here...." Chrys looked around and spotted a figure that looked like her but older and with scars. "Hello Chrys, yes I'd like to speak with you"

"I'll make this brief. Listen Chrys, that maniac that is after you will find out its you. I'm sorry but you won't be safe for long..." she said to Chrys. Chrys stood wide-eyed at her.

The dreamworld started to fade as did Crystal, "good bye Chrys"

*morning 10am* Chrys's Pov

I woke up to the sound of clanking in the kitchen. I got up and walked out of the room. I got to the kitchen and saw rose cooking. I smiled a bit then frowned remembering what Crystal said.

"Listen Chrys, that maniac that is after you will find out its you. I'm sorry but you won't be safe for long..."

'I am in big trouble....'
