Chapter 6: A Cop, Broken Beyond Repair

Rose's Pov 10am

I was washing dishes when Heather spoke up, "Hey Rose! Narciso found Chrys! She's at the his house!" I almost dropped a plate. I set it in the sink and darted over to Heather, "then let's go!"

Heather nods and we go. I drove Chrys's car to Narciso's house. Once we got there I went and knocked on the door. Narciso opened the door saw us and let us in. "She's in the kitchen eating. I will warn you she's in bad condition and a bit shaken up"

I nodded and walked to the kitchen. The other two talked to Narciso. I saw Chrys sitting in the kitchen, eating some soup. Sage sat with her as she ate. I realize why, her hands were shaking as she lifted the spoon up. I decided to let them know I'm here.

I coughed a bit and they looked over. I looked at sage and he nodded getting up and headed out to find Narciso. I walked over to Chrys and sat in a chair next to her. She dropped the spoon and frowned a bit. She then looked at me, "D-Detective..."

"Yes Chrys?" I asked her, she held her arms out wanting a hug. I hugged her gently. We stayed like that for a few minutes then pulled away. I took the spoon that Chrys had dropped and looked at Chrys. "Does you want some help?" I asked her.

She nodded blushing a bit. I smiled a bit and I fed Chrys. After a few minutes the soup was all gone. I put the bowl and spoon the the sink and went back over to Chrys. I looked at her injures. I see some cuts and bruises. There was bandages on her arms, legs, stomach, and face as far as I can see.

"Where else did she hurt you?" I asked her. She looked at me and pointed to her chest. I nodded, "Hey I um...met your mom yesterday..." she looked at me, "m-mom is here...?" "Not with us, I can tell her to come over if you wish, she's in town now" I said. She nodded, "could you....please?"

I nodded and sent Blu a message about Chrys and Narciso's address. I then looked at Chrys again. She was looking down on the floor. I lifted Chrys up making her squeak in surprise. I carried her to the livingroom of Narciso's house.

The others were in there as I walked in holding Chrys. I sat down setting Chrys in my lap. I informed Narciso about Chrys's mom coming over. He nodded then asked if the rest of us were hungry. "We ate earlier but thank you for offering" Leandre said.

There was a knock on the door. Narciso got up and went to answer it. He then let the person in. It was Blu, Chrys's mom. She looked over and spotted Chrys and went over to us. "H-Hey mom..." Chrys said to her. I helped Chrys stand so she could hug her mom.

"Oh my baby girl...what did that maniac do to you....?" She asked Chrys. Chrys stayed silent not wanting to say anything. "Sage and I asked her that question but she didn't say anything." Narciso said to blu, "We were hoping maybe Detective here can get her to talk."

They looked at me except for Chrys. "Well let me speak to her alone..." I said to them. They nodded and Narciso led them to the backyard. Chrys sat next to me looking at the floor. "It's okay Chrys, it's just you and me. You can tell me anything." I said to her.

She looked at me, tears falling down her face. She hugged me, buried her face in my chest and started crying. As she cried she started blurting out what that maniac did to her. I hugged her and listened to what she said. "Shhh, calm down" I said, rubbing up and down her back gently.

It seemed to work because she calmed down. The only thing a caught from her break down was 'torcher'. But she said something else, I'm not sure what but I'm gonna have to ask her. "Chrys, the only thing I heard was torcher...but I heard you say something else I just didn't catch it....what did you say " I said to her.

She froze up when I finished my sentence. She pulled away and looked at me. "I-I said she....she...." she started to say but she couldn't finish. "She what?" I asked her. The next three words she said were ones I wished not to hear.

"She raped me...."
