Chrys's Pov Lovebloom police station 9am
Rose and I arrived at the station to meet up with Heather and Leandre. We were going to go to the park and try to relax. It won't be easy for me to relax though.
The other three seemed to know that because they did let me choose where to go. I chose the park because it's very relaxing for me. I know Rose knows that. I did tell her that during the second rose case.
I shook my head getting the rose case thought out of my head. I felt an arm around me as I looked at Rose. "You okay?" She asked me. "No...just....memories..." I said, Rose took that as a sign to drop the subject. I know she wants to know more. But she can't, not yet anyway. I leaned on Rose as we walked.
There's more to my past then what I've told her. It's hard for me to admit them to her. It's not like I don't trust her. I just get scared that she won't like how my past is. After what happened with Ruth, I'd rather not say anything to Rose. I feel so broken inside. Just like in my childhood.
"Chrys, You okay?" asked Heather looking at me. I looked at her and nodded, "I'm fine" 'I'm broken' I thought to myself. "Okay then, Well as much as I like the park, we should go somewhere else" she said to me. I nodded in agreement.
'Sorry to interrupt but I need to show you something...now' Said Crystal to me. 'Okay...where?' I asked her. I suddenly lost control of my body and started walking in a certain direction. The others followed me confused.
After a bit we reached a spot where a stone door in the ground was in the park. It was hidden but trees and other plants and it seemed at have started cracking. 'What is this?' I asked Crystal. 'Welcome to the tomb of the dark lord' Crystal said to me. "What is this?" asked Rose from behind me. I looked at her, "The tomb of the dark lord...the one the warrior sealed away..."
"Doesn't look like the seal is holding" said Heather to me. "It's breaking...soon he'll be free to take Lovebloom and shower it in darkness..." I said to them. They nodded, understanding what I had said. "
Let's leave...my body is aching so I'd better lay down" I said standing and walking away from the tomb. Rose said bye to Heather and Leandre then went to catch up to me. We walked home in silence not saying anything to eachother.
Once we arrived home. I got changed and layed down in bed. Rose had gone to the livingroom not wanting to bother me. 'Chrys, you have to tell her some day' Crystal says to me. I huffed and ignored her.
But I thought about what she said. I know I had to tell her so I will. "Detective" I called out. I heard footsteps then the door opening. "Yes Chrys?" Asked Rose. "There's something I want to share with you" I said.
She walked over and sat beside me, "what is it?" I looked at her and sighed.
"I want to share with you about my abusive past...."
