Chapter 7: Broken Cop

Rose's Pov

I stared shocked at what Chrys said. Chrys hugged me again, crying once more. I was angry about this but I hugged Chrys, trying to calm her down. Narciso popped his head in seeing if it's okay for them to come in. I nodded and he went to get the others.

I looked at Chrys, "do you want me to tell them...? Or do you want to?" I asked her. She looked at me, "you...i-i don't think I can...." I nodded and kissed her forehead gently. The others came back in and sat down.  I looked at the group. "So...did she tell you anything?" Asked Heather to me. I nodded and spoke, "Yes...but you won't be happy about the answer I was given...."

That got thier attention fully on me and Chrys. Chrys was still crying softly, her head buried in my chest again. I had put my coat around her as a sense of comfort. I looked at them, "That maniac tortured her and....and...raped her...."

They stared wide eyed at me. Then blu spoke up, "she did what to my daughter?!" That made us all jump, Chrys shook in fear. "Calm down Ms. Stargazer...Chrys is shaken up from what happened" said Heather to Blu. Blu breathed out to calm her anger down.

"I'm sorry..." said Blu to Chrys. Chrys still shook in fear. I kissed her forehead gently and rubbed her back. Whispering to her that it was okay and that she was safe. That calmed her down pretty quick. I looked back at the others. "Now then, who is this maniac?" Asked leandre. "Only way we'll know if we get a description." Said Heather looking towards me.

I looked at Chrys, "what did she look like Chrys?" She looked at me and leaned close to me and whispered a few things to me. I nodded and looked at the others and Chrys went back to her position on me. "She said that the maniac had green hair and red eyes. Her clothing was a blue shirt with a black jacket over it and blue jeans." I said to them.

"Ruth..." blu said, "that's ruth...." We looked at her. "Ruth and I used to be friends...then she went insane so I left....after I had Chrys, I knew she wouldn't be safe here so we moved to another city to keep Chrys safe...once Chrys moved here I was worried ruth would find her and attack her...." blu said looking down.

It was getting late and we decided to head our separate ways. I thanked Narciso for taking care of Chrys. We headed home with Chrys being silent the whole time. I understood why, she was trying not to break down again. We got home and went inside.

We changed into our pj's, me having to help Chrys because of her injuries. We both layed down in bed. She cuddled close to me. She fell asleep quicker than I did. I fell asleep soon after she did.
