"I don't see Natsu" I said to Celeste
"We've been flying everywhere looking for him *grunt* Can't... Hold... Lucy...." Celeste moaned
I felt her drop me, I began plummeting towards the water. I felt someone else pick me up, I looked up and saw Happy smiling down at me.
"He's got to be around here somewhere" he said "Naaaatsuuuuuuuuu? Where are youuuuuuuu?"
I saw something flowing in the wind, like a piece of paper, but looked like a piece of cloth. His scarf, he probably went crazy searching for it through all of the rubble.
"Happy, could you possibly go down?" I asked
"Aye sir!"
He dropped me, I looked up and saw him smiling down at me, Celeste was trying to catch up to me, to pick me up and fly me away from being soaked. I turned and faced towards the ground, as if I were to be diving into a swimming pool.
I reached my hands ahead of me, and grabbed ahold of the soft scarf, I pulled it close to my chest and curled up into a ball to keep it from flying away. I'll keep it safe for you Natsu I thought.
Celeste finally caught up, and grabbed onto me.
"Wait Celeste, I think I found him" I said
"Good job Lucy" she smiled "is he hurt?"
"I doubt it" I said
She swooped down, and dropped me off at the backyard of the guild.
"Natsu!" I shouted happily
I ran over to hug him, he didn't hug back.
"Natsu? Are you ok?"
No response, I backed away and saw him standing there, motionless, expressionless....
"I lost it......." He muttered
I looked at him, he didn't have his scarf around his neck, well duh, because it was in my hands. If he looked up he could see it, but he wasn't. I slipped the scarf over my head, and wore it like he does.
"Oi I'm Natsu" I said in a corny voice "FIRE DRAGON ROAR!"
A little bit of mist shot out of my mouth, and I put my hand over it, to hide it. He looked up and smiled.
"Thanks Luce"
He went to take it away, but I pulled away.
"Heck no, this is soft" I said as I covered my mouth with the soft fabric.
He yanked it away, and put it on. I dropped to my knees, and forced a tear. He pulled me up, and looked at the two flying cats in the air. Happy gave up on Carla when Celeste joined the guild, Carla was pissed.
He was still trying to win her over, even after three months of "GOD HAPPY I BARELY KNOW YOU!" Oh and "GRR HAPPY I WILL NOT GO OUT WITH YOU!"
Natsu chuckled, so did I, I admit it's very amusing to watch them fight. There like parents during divorce, I'm not even kidding, that's exactly what they are.
"FINE HAPPY YOU GET LUCY AND NATSU THIS WEEK, AND I GET THEM NEXT!" Celeste shouted
"Wait, what?" I asked "uh guys, you do realize I have my own apartment... Right?"
"I don't want to hear it Lucy, your going with your father this week, and no buts" Celeste said
She looked like Erza when she wants more beer.
