I stared off into the distance of my apartment bedroom, waiting for myself to just close my eyes and to fall asleep. But I just couldn't.
I needed to rest to rebuild my strength but I just couldn't fall asleep, I had too many questions. Why is Luna here now? Of all times? And what does she want with my magic? None of this made any sense at all and it was started to frustrate me.
Every second new thoughts popped into my mind, how could Natsu fly like that? How did Erza find us?
I heard a thud come from across the room and I looked over only to see that an old book of mine had fallen off of my shelf. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the single book on the floor and picked it up. I looked at the cover and saw what appeared to be a pair of angel wings and a witch hat? Titled, "How the Angel slayer came to be".
How could have this big of a book fallen off of the shelf on its own?
"Psst! Lucy!" I heard a familiar male voice whisper from what sounded to be my window.
I slowly turned around only to find Natsu crouching on my window sill staring at me,
"WHAT ARE YA DOING HERE?!" I shouted.
"Shhhhh.....! It's about earlier." He shushed me and climbed fully into my bedroom now.
He shut the window and walked over to my messy multi colored bed and sat down at the end. I followed along and sat down right next to him.
"So what about it?" I asked and played with a few strands of my long blonde hair.
"What's the Angel slayer?" He asked.
I stiffened up, how could I not see this coming? Ugh well I kind of imagined this happening anyways so here goes.
"It's a special technic developed by a village of witches a long time ago, a little bit before I was born...." I went on trying my best to explain the majority of what I knew about my curse.
I could tell at some points he got lost, but he caught right up eventually. Whenever he was confused he always looked down at the floor and pretended like he knew all of what I was saying, but instead he was only just trying to understand what I was saying. As if it were to be said in another language, it was cute, the face he made when he finally got it.
"So you're basically cursed with a super cool magical ability?" He asked.
I sighed, after all of my hard work in explaining to what exactly was going on he still barely got any of it,
"Well yes I'm basically cursed but getting a "Super cool ability" isn't all that I get. Sometimes I get a sudden pain in the center of my stomach that comes from nowhere that hurts a lot. When you feel pain when you posses the Angel slayer magic it means that you cannot contain it and keep ahold of it, but in Luna's case it means you're weak and you must die."
His eyes widened, "Your sister wants to kill you? But why?" His voice became louder and louder by the second until he was shouting.
"Hey shush! I have neighbors you know?" I whispered.
"-But wait. How did you use wings and fire magic?" He asked calming himself.
"It's a part of the magic, you just need to chant a spell and then the type of magic you would like to use. Like before she used the wind force I was chanting for the mist to protect y-" he stared at me dead in eyes.
"Lucy your eyes....." He mumbled and pulled me close to his face.
"E-E-Eh Natsu?" I asked.
"They look- like little stars....." He said and continued to stare at my eyes.
"NATSU NATSU NATSU!" I heard Happy's voice squeak from the window, I felt something bump me on the back and I fell onto Natsu.
He stared up at me and I immediately shot up and rolled over to the other side of the bed blushing like crazy.
"What is it Happy?" I heard Natsu ask.
"ITS ABOUT LUCY!" Happy shouted and started pulling me by my shirt.
"Eh?! Stop pulling on my shirt! Cmon Happy I just bought this!" I whined and tried pulling my shirt way from him.
"ITS NOT JUST LUCY ITS LUNA!" He shouted.
I heard my bedroom door open and Celeste stumbled into my room while rubbing her eyes.
"Why are you guys so loud.....?" She asked and opened up her eyes fully, she saw both me and Natsu on the bed and looked like she was questioning my sanity.
"C-C-Celeste it's not what it looks like I promise!" I stuttered.
Out of the corner of my eye I could see Happy now tugging on Natsu's shirt.
"NATSU WE HAVE TO GO TO THE GUILD NOW!" Happy shouted.
"What's happening Happy?" He asked and stood up.
"I'll tell you on the way there! Now Celeste can you fly now?" He asked.
What? What happened to Celeste?
"What happened?" I asked.
They looked at me like I had been insane, "Oh right you were in the infirmary..... When Luna came into the guild she shouted at everyone to bring Lucy Heartfilia to her stat! So Celeste took a direct hit from Luna's magic to stall time for you to get out..... Wendy said that Celeste could have died...." Happy explained.
I teared up and smiled, "Awwwww so you do care about me after all?" I asked her and walked over to her and picked her up and hugged her.
She tried to push away but it wouldn't be that easy >:3 (Scaredy cat Amber).
"But you need your rest Celeste." I said and placed her down on my bed.
"ALRIGHT LETS GO!" Natsu cheered.
"THE NEIGHBORS!" I shouted back.
