Flashback
Where was momma?
I had searched all over the guild hall and asked almost everyone but no one knew where she had gone.
She wasn't in the guild, so here I was, walking up and down the streets of this beautiful town. I kept on searching for her no matter what, was she just playing hide and seek with me?
"Momma I don't want to play anymore it's not fun!" I whined.
I heard footsteps and I turned around and saw three boys about my age walking over to me with smirks.
"Lookin for your mom?" One of them asked.
"*sniffle* yes she has short blonde hair like me and her name is Layla Heartfilia and-"
"Heartfilia aye? Aren't you rich or something? Heh there's a type of magic I want to buy in a store that's about a block away. But I don't have enough money....."
"I don't have any money, and even if I did I wouldn't waste it on spending it for you." I replied.
He ran up to me and punched me in my face, why violence? Why me?
"THATS ENOUGH!" I heard a boys voice shout from behind the others.
"Ugh Natsu why do you have to attract so much attention?" Another boy voice asked.
"You both need to act more mature, that's for sure." A girls voice said.
The three boys in front turned around and I peeked passed them and saw the group from earlier.
The pink haired boy and a blue haired, along with a long red haired girl with about every strand of her hair in a perfect braid.
"Yeah yeah yeah! But for now let's focus on these jerks!" Natsu shouted.
I watched as fire shot out of his hand, fire magic? How.... Cute.
"FIRE DRAGON ROAR!" He shouted and fire shot out of his mouth.
I stared at him amazed but the other boy looked unamused.
"Don't show off ." He said and rolled his eyes, "ICE MAKE FLOOR!"
The group of wizards finished off the three boys and the pink haired one walked over to me with a smile, "So you're the new member of the guild? Welcome to our family!"
I crossed my arms and shivered, "I-It's so cold."
I felt something wrap around my neck and I opened my eyes to see that he had taken off his scarf and given it to me, "There you go, you can wear it back to the guild."
"Thanks." I said and buried my face deeper into the soft scarf.
"Hey stop trying to impress her." I heard the other boy say.
"Stop fighting you're making us look crazy," the girl ordered.
"US?! WHAT ABOUT YOU WAVING THAT SWORD AROUND ALL DAY THREATENING EVERYONE!" He shouted back.
"Shut up Gray you're causing a scene!"
I giggled at their fighting once more, and followed them back to the guild wile they continued their fight.
