We ran over to the guild as fast as we could and everything looked completely normal from the outside. Of course, this was something he would do just to get a laugh out of our reactions.
"Happy are you sure somethings wrong? I mean everything looks perfectly fine here-" I was cut off when he began to fly faster and farther than me and Natsu.
"Happy wait up!" Natsu shouted.
We both struggled to keep up with him but we managed to, "We're here." He said.
I could hear screaming coming from the inside and pushed open the doors.
"LUCY HEARTFILIA! I DEMAND TO KNOW HER EXACT LOCATION!" I saw Luna at the back wall of the guild surrounded my guild members trying to overpower her.
She had flaming red eyes and looked like a demon, "Luna why....?" I asked.
"HEY! WHATS GOING ON!" Natsu demanded.
He took at step forward but I put my hand on his shoulder to stop him, "It's too late, she's been taken over by the power."
"By the what? Power? What the hell is that supposed to mean!" He asked.
"The demon inside of her has been let loose and there's no way of getting her back, I've lost my sister." I cried out.
"Lucy!" I heard her shout, "THE HIDDEN POWER FROM THE SEVEN GODS OF WONDER! I SUMMON THE POWER FROM DEEP BENEATH MY SOUL TO BRING TO LIFE THE ANGEL OF WATER!"
I stood there, the boiling water hit me in my stomach and I fell to the floor in pain, "Natsu......"
I stood up, "Do you take me for a weakling? You can't have my power that easily!"
I summon the power of fire again and blew the fire out of my mouth half expecting for her to be finished. But of course she also couldn't be taken down with a single blow, everyday when we were younger I would watch her pick fights with the village children. Testing her power, if she won she won, that was it. She could never accept losing or giving up, she always tried to find a way.
I envied her for that.
The mist began to rise from the ground around my feet, it circled around me and started to cover my wounds. Feeling as if in a split second I could be on my feet, fighting at my full power. I watched as the cuts and bruises slowly start faded away until they were completely gone.
I ran over to her grabbed and her by her neck and pushed her up against the wall, "I'm weak?"
I kneed her in the stomach, "Well so are you...."
I grabbed her by her wrist and walked her out of the guild, "Why are you here Luna?"
"I seek your power because you're too weak to handle it." I heard her say, struggling to free herself from my grip.
"You're gone now aren't you....?" I asked trying not to cry, "The old you wouldn't be like this would she?"
The idea of losing my sister hurt me, every night I would pray that the next time we saw each other she would be completely the same as the last time. If I had lost her, I would lose a part of me, she was my sister and I think it would hurt anyone wouldn't it?
Everyday growing up with her I suffered and watched as everyday I lost another part of her. Even if I had left my home at a very young age, I always carried around something of hers in my pocket.
"IM JUST THE SAME AS I USED TO BE! YOURE THE ONE WHOSE CHANGED LUCY! YOURE WEAKER NOW, STOP PLAYING WIZARD AND ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING! THE DEMON IS FAR FROM TAKING OVER MY SOUL AND THIS IS ME NOW! THIS IS WHO I AM AND YOU NEED TO ACCEPT THAT!" She shouted.
"Mom separated us because she thought I would be a be better off as a wizard...." I said trying to ignore the words she angrily spat out.
"BECAUSE YOU WERE WEAK AND YOU NEEDED TO LEARN!"
"Because I had far more power than you would ever have, and she knew one day you'd come after me and attempt to gain my power by killing me. She saved me."
"THAT OLD WOMAN IS DEAD!"
Those words stung, and I started to cry even more until the point where I was shouting out my words instead of trying to hold back my anger, "SHE KNEW YOU'D TRY AND KILL ME ONE DAY! IM YOU'RE SISTER LUNA! SO WHY CANT YOU JUST ACCEPT THAT?! I WAS GRANTED MORE POWER THAN YOU BUT THAT SHOULDN'T CHANGE YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT ME OVER A LITTLE BIT OF POWER! YOU'RE THE ONE WHOS REALLY WEAK YA HEAR ME?!"
I pulled harder on her arm and yanked her forward, "You're going to jail and I won't expect to see you ever again."
"LUCY!" She shouted.
She struggled to pull away from me,"Stop trying to free yourself, it's not going to work...." I mumbled and walked into the prison and shoved her over to a group of guards that had been chatting.
Even after I left I could hear their shouting and fighting, "LUCYYYYY!" I heard Luna shout.
I'm sorry Luna but you've been corrupted and this is the only way now. Please forgive me when or if I ever seen you again.
