Lucy's POV
I slowly opened my eyes and stared across the room at the door.
What am I doing? Where am I? I thought.
I moved my hand and felt a piece of paper slide along the ground with it.
I sat up and began to stretch my arms up to the ceiling, I heard a crack and then lowered them both back down and rested them onto my thighs.
I looked down at the ground around me and slowly began to regain my memory of what I had been doing last night.
Papers were scattered all over the floor, along with various books I had no memory of every opening.
I placed my thumb on the page I had left off on and closed the book just enough to see the title of the book.
The cover was brown leather with golden writing that spelled out, "The angel slayer".
My eyes widened, no! I couldn't have fallen asleep on this work!
I flipped through the pages and sigh with relief at the beautiful sight of a perfectly fine book, with no torn out pages or drool on it.
I placed my hand on my forehead and smiled, "I can't believe that Luna has done this to me," I said and began to laugh.
I laughed until I cried and extended my arms in different directions and fell down on the ground and onto all of the papers.
"Luna," I said as tears poured down my rosy cheeks, "I'm going to try from now on, I'll try much harder."
A breeze swept through the room and the papers began to shoot up into the air and fly all around me.
I started to giggle and poked the papers that swirled around and around, endlessly.
"What?" I asked, "Who's there?"
The papers began to speed up until the swirled all around me and the books as if they were being sucked into a tornado.
I backed up but the papers cut me, "Ow! Wendy is that you? Stop it hurts!" I assumed it was Wendy, trying to play a harmless trick on me.
She was the only person that I knew of that could cause such things as papers to fly up into the air.
The papers began to close in on my and they started to cut through my pajamas.
"Wendy!" I shouted, "Stop it's beginning to hurt!"
The papers slowed down, and then all of them dropped at the same time.
I looked around the room just to see if anything had been using there magic.
My eyes stopped at the doorway, as it began to creek open.
A boot stepped in and then another followed behind it.
I looked up at the person that had stepped in, and a group of men had walked in.
The first one had walked over to me and stared down at me with a grin, "So you must be the pink haired ones lover am I right?" He asked.
I shook my head, "I'm sorry but you must be in the wrong place," I said and scooted up against the wall.
He shook his head, "Nope," he said and reached down towards the pile of papers on the ground.
He picked up one and examined it and nodded his head, "You see this?" He asked.
I slightly nodded my head and struggled to swallow.
My throat was dry, while I was looking at him the other two men had stepped into the room and were standing behind him waiting patiently.
He took another step towards me, "This is the reason why you won't ever see your lover again," he said and ripped it in half.
I grinned, "You can destroy those papers all you want," I said and started to shake, "But I already know how to destroy the angel slayer."
Something glowed from the corner of my eye.
When I turned to look at what had been causing the glow, I assumed that one of them had cast some sort of magic hallucination spell on me.
I was completely wrong.
Leo stood in the corner of my room and adjusted his glasses, "Need some help there Lucy?"
I clenched my fist and smiled, "Yeah," I said and stood up and ran over to him.
"Eh? Who is this guy?" The leader said and walked over to him.
"I am Lucy Heartfilia's most trust worthy celestial spirit!" He said and extended his arms out.
I sighed, "Okay Loke, you're doing a sure lot of bragging! When you should be saving me!"
He sheepishly laughed and put his arms back down.
"So this chick is a celestial wizard?" The guy asked.
I nodded, "Yup! And you'd better run unless you want him to beat your ass!" I said proudly.
He snickered, "I doubt he can even take our weakest member on!"
Loke coughed, "That is not a way you should have been treating a woman, you should be ashamed of yourselves!"
They all started laughing at him.
"Lucy," He said, "Please stand back."
I took a few steps back and watched as Loke punched all of the men, they all grabbed their stomachs and coughed.
He went in for another punch but one of the guys from the back grabbed him by his arm and pushed it behind him.
"Kick our asses huh? Seems pretty weak, heck I'm pretty sure like a weak girl like you can take him on! And win!" He said and all of them began to laugh.
