"Natsu?" I asked walking around aimlessly trying to navigate my way back to him, "Natsu please stop you're scaring me....."
I tripped over a fallen tree that was in my path and sat up with tears in my eyes and blood all over my legs.
"Happy?" I asked and looked up at the sky hoping to find him soaring around carrying Natsu, and trying to find me.
I shakily stood up on high alert just in case I came across another monster.
I heard shaking in the bushes that were right next to the path ahead.
I started running towards it hoping that Natsu and Happy were just playing a joke on me to scare me.
"Natsu," I said as I pushed the branches and leaves away, "I found yo......."
I looked down at a sniffling cat that had light purple fur and two black ears.
She looked up at me and then covered her face with her paws.
I gasped as I saw her leg was bleeding.
"Are you okay?" I asked and extended my arm toward her.
She noticed I wasn't a threat and then sat up and looked me up and down, "Why are you asking if I'm alright? You're covered in dirt and blood and you have cuts all over!" She said.
I gasped.
So she can talk just like Happy?
"Uh yeah they're just from the job, now I know not to trust Natsu to pick the job anymore," I said and scratched my head.
"Oh so this Natsu person? Are you looking for him?" She asked.
"I uh- yeah how'd you know?" I asked confused.
She chuckled, "Because I heard someone named Natsu was looking for you too," she said and extended her paw towards me, "I'm Lucy."
"Really? I'm Lucy too!" I said in excitement.
"Well do you want my help finding your friend Lucy?" She asked.
"Yes please," I said.
A magic circle appeared under her, and soon enough her back sprouted beautiful bright white angel wings.
She flew up and clung onto my back and began to fly upward in search of Natsu and Happy.
"I have a friend that's just like you!" I said and smiled, "He's a talking cat too and he has wings too."
"Wow that's cool!" She said focusing more on where she was going, than what I was saying.
A few minutes went by without anyone saying anything, and just as I was about to count to three minutes a question popped into my mind.
"Oh hey Lucy, why were you in the woods bleeding like that?" I asked and search through the trees looking for a bright blue cat and a light pink haired boy.
"My old owner was abusive," She muttered, "he beat me up and then just left me out there in the woods to die."
"What?" I asked hoping that I had misheard everything that she was saying, "Why would someone do that?"
"I have no idea, but when he left me there I was too afraid to do anything except for cry." She explained.
A few more minutes of silence went by until I spoke up once more.
"Do you want to be my friend? You wouldn't be a pet, you'd be a friend," I asked hoping that she'd say yes.
"Alright. friend."
I smiled and she smiled down at me.
"How about we change your name so whenever someone calls you by it then it doesn't remind you about you're bad past?" I asked.
"Okay, what do you think?" She asked.
"How about...." I looked all around trying to see if inspiration would just smack me in my face just like a fly had a few miles ago.
I noticed my keys that Mira had sewn to my belt and contemplated naming her after a key. But soon decided against it after thinking about how the others might react.
"How about Celeste?" I asked, "I mean I just thought that because I'm a celestial wizard..."
"I love it," She said and I felt a drop of water drip into my forehead as I looked up at her.
Rain?
No you idiot Lucy she's crying.
She's actually crying.
