Chapter 5

If you thought you were feeling stars truck before, you definitely are now. What are the chances of meeting him? The actor you had adored for all these years was standing in front of you. You looked into his deep brown eyes, seeming to get lost in them. Your mind was racing, and you began to feel dizzy. You started to fall, but before you knew it, two warm hands wrapped around your waist, preventing you from falling. You looked to see who the hands belonged to. Thomas, of course. You felt your cheeks burn red, and quickly turned away.
"Are you alright?" Thomas asked, his deep voice laced with concern
"Um yeah, must be the heat I guess" you barely get out.
Thomas pulls you up, keeping a hand on the small of your back to make sure you don't fall again. You can't help it; you look into his eyes again, and he is already looking into yours, with a smile on his face again. You had totally forgotten about everyone until Wes coughed, breaking you from your trans.
"Well I guess you have met most of the cast. I'm sure you don't need me around now, so I will just head off then." Wes said as he walked off

By now Thomas had removed his hand from your back, leaving a cold spot where his warm hand once was.
"I'm Thomas Sangster. It's a pleasure to meet you uh..."
"(Y/n),"you quickly and shyly replied
" and it's nice to meet you too"
It was like you were in a different world; one where you got to meet all your favourite celebrities. You suddenly though of Ally. She is going to be so anxious to meet Dylan once you tell her. She couldn't believe it when you told her that the Maze Runner was going to be filmed on your property.
You suddenly felt eyes on you, and realised you were being spoken to.
"So what do you think (y/n)?" Kaya asked
"Hmm? Sorry I was just thinking. What did you say?" You add a mental note to pay more attention
"We were just saying we haven't really had a chance to look around the place, and we were wondering if you wouldn't mind showing us around. Wes told us you have been down here quite often so we thought you would know the place a lot better than us." Kaya explained.
"Oh yeh of course! Sure that sounds great!" You said enthusiastically.

As you walked around with the group showing them the 'Glade', you tried to avoid Thomas. As silly as it was, you didn't want to do or say anything stupid, however you really wanted to get to know him.
"And that's the Deadheads just in that corner." You explained
"The dead what?" You heard Dylan ask
"The DeadHeads. That's the graveyard in the Glade" Will replied
"Dude did you even read the books?" Ki Hong asked Dylan
Dylan looked to the ground in shame and quietly replied with
"I got a couple of chapters in..." With that the whole group began to laugh.

To your relief, you began to feel a little more comfortable around everyone, including Thomas.
