You couldn't breathe. You tried to take a gasp of air only to be filled with a cold salty liquid. Your vision was blurred, unable to see clearly. You began to pannick, your heartbeat rising. Your chest burned with a fiery need to breathe as you struggled not to inhale anymore of the liquid. As you began to search around, a bright and blurry bulb came into sight. That when you realised that you were underwater. The salty liquid that burned you throat was sea water.

You could see it. See the surface. It was only a few feet above you. Just as you were about to swim towards the surface, you realised your feet and hands were bound together, preventing you from moving your limbs the slightest. You squirmed and struggled, trying to set yourself free to no avail.

You began to quickly sink down into the depths of the ocean, further and further away from the surface. It was getting too much for you. You needed to take a breath. You needed to scream. You did the latter first, opening your mouth wide and letting out a loud and high pitched scream that echoed.
"An echo?" You thought.
