I wake in a cold sweat. There's another maze? His sisters still alive? Gally's not my actual brother? Who was that Chancellor woman? What's the disease we're supposed to be getting rid of? So many questions were rushing through my head, but I knew no one here had the answers to any of them. I wanted to tell someone, I needed to tell Newt. But I couldn't. If I tried someone would get hurt, and I don't want to hurt anyone.
I look around, my head no longer hurting and my vision back to normal. Newt was by my side, just like he always was and I couldn't help but smile at him.
"Hi." I said to him rather groggily. He smiled at me, but then his smile vanishes.
"They came again last night." I sat up and grabbed his hand.
"Who'd they take?"
"Adam." One a night, just like Gally said. I squeezed Newts hand and he looked up into my eyes. I smiled at him, which made him smile and let out a light laugh. "Thanks, (Y/N/N)." He stood up and kissed my forehead. "Why don't you go get something to eat then come and help me with the maps."
"Okay." I stood up out of bed and headed for the kitchen as Newt went to the weapons room.
After having a small meal, I went to help Newt. Teresa let me in and Newt came in a few minutes later.
"Where'd you go?" I asked him when he joined me at the table.
"Went and spoke to Minho and Tommy." I nodded to him then went back to working on the maps. We continued working and a few minutes later I jumped up.
"I think we did it!" I shout, grabbing the piece of paper with all the letters on it we had discovered. I start trying to disiffer it and eventually get six words. Six words that have been repeated over and over. Teresa practically rips the paper out of my hand and walks away. I roll my eyes and mentally scoff. As if he had somehow heard the good news, Thomas was knocking at the door. Newt let him in then dismissed the rest of the Gladers.
