"You look lovely today," he suddenly blurted as he drove. I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by his smile.

"Thanks," i answered, pulling a strand of hair behind my ear, he turned to watch me, and it felt so weird. I looked at the popcorn in my hand that he'd given me... So cheeky of him and Harry.

"So, I was wondering if you wanted to just roam around the city and just get to know each other, ya know?" he played with his hair, and I nodded, watching as he came to a stop.

"I'd love that." I gazed at him, and he gazed back. "And maybe I can show you some really cool places around here," I finished. He chuckled and slid his hand back to the wheel, forgetting about the green light.

"Brilliant," he agreed. I looked around the street as we stayed quiet for a minute... before breaking the ice.

"Oh! How about we play a little questionaire, get to know more about one another," I jumped from my seat a little, liking my idea a little too much.

"Sure, you start," he kept his eyes on the street, endulging the scenery of Beverly Hills, California.

"Okay, uh," I tried to think of a question... as bubbly as I may seem, I actually do a lot of thinking before I speak.. I am very critical. Anyway, it took me a second to think of a good one.

"Pancakes or crepes?" i laughed, remembering asking people in my former high school the same question.

"Oh, that's a tough one," he replied as he threw a glance at me.

"But I'd have to go with crepes," he nodded as he continued to drive. His eyes widened a bit in realization.

"Which reminds me, have you eaten lunch yet?" he turned to me at another red light. I shook my head and looked in question.

"You?" i asked, and he shook his head, seeming to be happy about it.

"Great, where would you like to go?" he chimmed and I laughed, shrugging.

"Ask that guy there, he looks reliable," I smiled. Ed laughed and agreed, pulling over the road to ask the man... He pointed us to the Beverliz Cafe and we thanked him, and headed for our adventure.

Lunch was amazing, and dinner went even better. We've become so acostume to one another in just a few hours, laughing happily at stupid, ironic, or even pervy jokes we'd make at the most random times.

We tried to get into a club, well I did anyway... but as soon as we arrived, it seemed paparazzi had been following us a bit.

"Shit, this isn't going to work," I said, as Ed was about to pay the security to let us in. He looked at me and smiled,

"And why do you say that?" he asked, a smirk as to be accepting a challenge. I laughed and nodded towards the people, covering my face so they wouldn't think anything too irrational about it.. it was just a date. The sudden flash caught his attention and he now understood.

"I have alcohol and music at my house, we can just hang there," I asked him, watching Paparrazzi take photos, so I just went ahead and gave a retarded face and smiled at one of them.

He laughed and nodded, and I grinned at him, before he looked back and flinched at the flash.

"C'mon," he grabbed my hand, pulling me along. That took me by complete utter surprise and he kind of noticed that as we walked back to his car, paparazzi following.

"Sorry," he tried to let go, but I held on before he could pull away.

"I don't mind," I said, looking at the ground, knowing my face must be redder than hell. I heard him chuckle as we enter the car, pulling away from the paparrazzi that surrounded us.

"Barbara, I am really enjoying this. Thank you," he mumured after a few minutes of quiet.

"Ed, I'm glad, because I'm having just as much as a good time. I'm really glad I came. Seriously, you're amazing," I smiled as he parked into my driveway. He nodded and turned off the engine.

"C'mon, let's go inside. " I blurted as we got out, I opened it and led him inside.

"You can turn on the music, any station you want. C'mon, let's go to my bar," I waved and he smiled and walked behind me, following me closely. This now felt so comfortable. You could tell he was comfortable, and I was too. It was perfect.

"What kind of drink you want?" I said as he walked in slowly, keeping quiet again. I opened the lock to the door that Paul forgot to put away since he was too drunk last night. I laughed as I watched Ed's face change in awe at what he'd call a 'man-cave', or that's what Paul calls it anyway, he designed it for me. I only use it for big parties.... that I haven't had yet. Hehe.

He looked at me and rose his blonde eyebrow.

"Thought you couldn't drink?" he murmured, walking to the stool as I went behind the counter, washing out the new stuff.

"Just because I haven't drank doesn't mean I didn't go ahead and learn how to make drinks," I smiled, proudly. He laughed, nodding in amazement.

"Wow, and why did you learn, if you don't mind me asking?" he said as he placed his elbow on the counter, leaning in as he asked. I took out the cups, waving the different types of liquor, spirits, and wines my grandparents had given to me when I bought the house, as well as new ones...

"Well, I learned because when I have little events here, I don't want anyone getting alcohol poisoning by mixing the wrong drinks, so I make sure I stay behind and help them out," I explained. His small lips rose in a smile as he watched me.

"Nice. Very responsible," he tried to hold in a smirk again. I rolled my eyes, laughing.

"So what's it going to be?" I asked. He shook his head, lightly.

"I woouldn't want to be the only one drinking, I rather enjoy the time with you sober," he said softly, and I couldn't help but feel flattered... I sighed and looked at him, a little challenged.

"Will you drink if I drink?" I said, pulling out my favorite wine that I had been planning to drink on my 21st birthday next year. He laughed.

"You little rebel," he joked and I chuckled.

"Well, in the UK, isn't the legal drinking age 18?" I asked and he nodded. I took out some liquor and he rose an eyebrow.

"Then let's just pretend we're in the UK," i smiled before he shook his head looking at the wine. He stood and got up.

"Here, I'll make yours and you'll make mine," he began, putting his shoulder right beside mine, pulling out another cup.

"Sounds good to me," I said, running to my music system and switching it in. Ed looked satisfied with what was playing. I didn't tell him, but I had my first actual cup of alcohol that night, and I think I couldn't have enjoyed it more than being with him.
