Worry

Sasuke's POV

It had been a year since I have seen her. I have no idea how she is. I don't think I can bear to know, honestly. I can still remember the look of desperation in her eyes.

"Stay."

I wish I could've stayed with her. I wanted to keep my arms wrapped around her for as long as physically possible. I wanted to make her forget that entire day. Maybe that would've been the easiest solution.

Those words were forever burned in my brain. I still have no idea why he did that to her. I won't know until I find him, I just haven't been very successful in that area.

Sakura's POV

I let the hot water run down my body. No matter how much I showered, I can't wash off what he did to me. I still remember how hurt Sasuke looked. Maybe he does care for me after all. I just wish I could hear from him again.

After an hour, I get out of the shower and change. I sit on my couch and stare at the wall.

Knock knock

I sigh at walk to the door.

"SAKURA!!! Open the door already. I know you're there. It's been a year, just let someone in." I heard Naruto plead.

I put my forehead against the door and sigh. He's right, it's been a year. I should be ready to let my friends see me, but I just wasn't.

"Please Sakura, I know you need someone. Just... let me in." Naruto begged me.

I sighed and unlocked the door. He cautiously opened the door and came inside. I instinctly wrapped my arms around him and hugged him as tightly as I could.

"It's going to be okay." I heard him say to me, "I sent a letter to Sasuke for him to come home."

My eyes widened at what he said. I definitely wasn't ready to see him again.

"Why would you do that? I'm not ready for that." I said to him.

"You need someone, Sakura. I know he's the only person you will open up to." He said to me.

I sighed and closed my eyes.

Sasuke's POV

I leaned against a tree and sighed. I really do hope she's doing okay. I looked up to the sky and saw a bird coming straight at me. I rolled my eyes and held my arm out and it landed. I pulled the note from its foot and opened it.

"Sasuke,

You really do need to come back to Konoha. Kakashi had pardoned all of your crimes. It's Sakura. She hasn't left her apartment in over a year. She's not doing so good. If anyone can get her to open up its you.

Naruto"

I jumped up and let the bird fly off. I didn't even think twice, I just headed for Konoha.
