Sakura's POV

Sasuke was scheduled to leave today. He wanted to go and get revenge on his brother, for everything. I had been home now for close to two weeks. I was still sore from the attack but I was slowly getting better.

"Sakura, can you come here please?" I heard Sasuke say from the bedroom.

I walked to the room and stood in the doorway. He was sitting on the bed with his travel bag sitting on the floor by his feet. His Katana was strapped to his back. I had known he'd be leaving, but seeing him ready hurt more than I could ever imagine. He looked up and me and motioned me to come closer.

"Yes, Sasuke?" I said as I stepped inbetween his legs and looked down at him.

He smiled at me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He had grown more affectionate towards me since the attack, but had never admitted to any real feelings towards me, but I didn't need him too. He will never know this, but when he came to me seven months ago, he had admitted to me through his actions. I was just waiting on the words.

Sasuke's POV

I held her in my arms for what seemed like hours, I just couldn't let go of her. I hated leaving her all alone, especially since I had no idea when I'd be returning to her. I finally let go and stood up.

"I can't promise you that I'll return. But I need you to know something in case I do. I love you, Sakura. I'll love you til the day I die." I said to her as I placed a kiss upon her lips.

I saw her face turn red at what I said. I smiled to her and pulled out a necklace from my pocket. It had a silver chain and an Uchiha pendent. I placed it on her and put my hand on her face.

"Take this necklace as a promise to you. A promise that I will try to return to you, and when I do I plan on making you my wife, Sakura. That is if you will accept." I said looking into her eyes.

I saw tears forming in her eyes and a high pitch squeal came from her lips. I jumped back a bit at the noise but chuckled to myself.

"Of course I accept you Baka!" She said and kissed me.

I smiled and grabbed her face softly and kissed her. I couldn't even tell her how happy she had made me. To be honest, it shocked me. When I was younger I would've never even considered her, but as I grew older I would find myself looking back and was finally able to understand everything. She had loved me even when I gave her no reason too. She had never given up on me and I found myself loving her for it.

"Thank you, Sakura." I said to her.

She smiled at me and hugged me tightly.

"I'll see you soon, my love. Til next time." I said to her and poked her forehead and then I made my leave.
