Sasuke's POV
I woke up to beautiful green eyes staring at me. How I had missed this woman. She placed her hand on my cheek and smiled. Kami, was I happy to see some life being brought back to her face.
"Are you hungry? I could cook you something or go get something, what ever you want." I asked her.
"No, I'm okay for right now. Thank you, Sasuke." She said smiling at me.
I smiled back at her and pulled her close to me.
"I don't want to ask to much of you, but if you wish to talk to me about anything, know I will listen." I said to her as I stroked her hair.
I felt her muscles tense at my words. I didn't want to pressure her to talk, but she definitely needed too.
"I can still taste him. I still hear every words that he said. I still feel the way his fingers traced my skin." I heard her say to me.
I held onto her tighter, trying to comfort her the best I could. I silently promised that I would protect her. He would never touch her again.
6 months later
It's been 6 months since I returned to Konoha. Sakura has finally put her weight back on and has been leaving the house every once in awhile. I was just glad she wasn't cooping herself up in her apartment anymore.
"Sasuke-kun?" I heard her say from the living room.
I smiled and got out of her bed. I pulled on my dark blue sweat pants and didn't even bother to place a shirt on.
"Yes, Sakura?" I asked her as I stepped into the hallway.
I heard her gasp and drop whatever she was holding in her hand. The next thing I knew there was good scattered all over the floor.
"Dammit!" She screamed.
She crossed her arms and shot me a glare, even when she was made, she was still cute as hell. I chuckled to myself and helped her clean up the mess.
"Now I have to go back out and get some more. Leaving the first time was already hard enough as it is." I heard her say with a pouty face.
"Don't bother. I'll do it. Just stay here and relax." I said to her as I threw my shirt and shoes on.
I heard her sigh in relief and she sat down on the couch. I walked to her and placed a kiss on her forehead and left.
