One year later

Sasuke's POV

Today, I marry the love of my life. Today, I fulfill my promise to her. I stood at the alter patiently awaiting my bride. I tugged at the collar of my dress shirt, trying to cool off.

"Are you nervous, Teme?" Naruto, my best man, asked as he stood beside me.

I nodded and tugged at my shirt again. I was more than nervous, I was freaking out. I did not regret the decision to marry her, I was more happy than I have ever been in my life.

I heard the wedding music began to play and I turned to face the doors. As soon as they opened my eyes widened. She was absolutely stunning. I saw her smile at me and I felt my heart drop to my stomach.

"You're a lucky man, Uchiha." Naruto said and shouldered me softly.

I smiled, he was right about that. I was truly lucky because after all I did to her, she was marrying me today. Kakashi smiled at me as he walked her down to me. She had lost her parents many years ago and I remember the day she asked him. I had never seen the man cry until that day.

I stepped down the bottom step and reached out my hand to her as she neared me. She grabbed my hand and walked with my back to the podium.

"We gather here today to join this couple in matrimony. If anyone objects to this union, please speak now or forever hold your peace." The man spoke.

The room was silent, not one person objected, which left me utterly speechless.

"Do you, Sasuke Uchiha, take this woman as your bride?" He asked me.

"I do." I said and smiled at my bride.

"Do you, Sakura Haruno, take this man to be your husband?" He asked her.

"I do." She said.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss." He said to us.

We placed the rings on our fingers and I grabbed the back of her head and pulled her gently into a kiss. Today, I realized one thing about this woman. She is my happiness.
